att:10-20%
hp: 20-30%
dmg: rest
has worked well for me.

Due to the way gear, entities and other factors are created, I have and even spread across all stats but most in HP. Admitedly, I don't one hit kill unless I forge and engineer my Cyborg sets (in which case I'm a happy Borg murderer for quite a while!) but we never really designed things that way.

cyborgs get a lot of attack so i don't put points to attack but you may want to ask muties..
if you are comfortable with your att/dam/HP stats you can invest in def too. it's better than armor as a defensive stat.
purist used to be the easiest class and rather illogically powerful. that's when a lot of the players became purists. right now they have a really useful buff called Mental Shield, similar to imp in FS, that's unique to their class. But it is not so easy to play anymore and honestly unless you have high max energy and lots of backpack space I wouldn't recommend it. The easiest classes to play are soldier and cyborg right now imo but the muties don't use ammo so you have a more backpack/ less visits to shops advantage there, but get a little less damage boosting buffs.

I don't put any into armor, as hp does same and is more flexible.
