i'm getting pretty sick of afker's in pvp. there isn't much to do these days and pvp is something a lot still do these days, but people just joining the game to do weeklys is annoying for the people that really want to play pvp. it really needs a BIG look into and sorting please HCS.

 

any other comments are welcome here for idea's on how to sort this problem and any other problems you think pvp needs to be improved, no naming and shaming please as the post will be took down.

Yeah HC really got to sort out afk'ers in pvp, fair enough if you just freeze completely in pvp but not afk as it is frustrating for every1 else in the team. Maybe if some one afk's for like 30 secs in pvp they get kicked?

and how to count as "AFK" if the team are way unbalanced?

Should introduce a bracket system based on levels. For example, lv 10-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-49. It might increase queue time but it will improve quality of matches by a huge margin. As for AFKers, if they don't move out of spawn in 30 secs they would be kicked out, and have a timeout for about 30 mins to an hour before they can join another match.

Reintroduce group queue as a separate queue. That way groups that want to have nice pvp can have nice pvp.

The code is there, just separate it from the solo queue.

Instead of just participating in PvP, the weekly quest could be changed that you'd have to win 5 matches for example. That would encourage everyone to do their best since afking no longer guarantees you the reward, but is pretty much the opposite.

 

Another suggestion that comes to mind would be setting some kind of condition for qualifying for weekly quest. For example, if your team loses but you did at least x amount of damage to enemies, you'd be qualified and that match counts towards the weekly quest. Something like that. That also would make afking unrewarded (at least until players meet the condition in which point match might already been decided).

why not ppl who afk in the game be given a warning after say 30 or so seconds that they will be counted as afk if they do not move or attack or something .. and those who abandoned the game /afk'd the game be given a penalty of idk .. an hour or 2 that they cant queue .. now if u dc'd like client crash or client freeze maybe a 10 min disable to queue as it is .. even though its not players fault

Safe Zone added to one match - Need's be removed genral means PvP With Safe not PvP Inplayed use of safe zone to AFK.

 

2nd Unblanced teams - clearly 1 sided match not much point in trying when clearly lost with out ghost of chance on any chance of wining.

 

3 rd Point covered bye Ernzor - Added back group Q

This combined with character level bracket system suggested, where the queue would automatically assign your team according to your level or maybe pvp rank (this wouldn't apply to group queuing if its re-implemented) would be good suggestion. I say combine it with bracket system because with the current state of unbalanced teams would make this pvp weekly quest probably uncompletable for lower levels/people who arent that great with pvp unless they got really lucky with the queueing.

some nice idea's not sure about the group queue thing again though, would any of you like to against 4 proph/mages? and some afker's still are there so if they get a warning about not moving they could just move a little so escape that, but the idea of doing so much damage sounds intresting. not sure how that would work in a dom game as you can do that game without fighting at all.

Bracket system included would be good combo indeed. Though I think the biggest problem with bracket system is the low player base. At current player base this bracket system would just make it pretty much impossible to join PvP games at low-mid levels since only level range that has enough players to start game would be the end-game people.

as long as there's no pvp'ers(players overall) there will never be something different make it so that you have to win ur 10 weeklies to finish the quest that way you will have people trying or not attempting cuz it would be a waste of time

 

 

the 10 wins for the weekly would be a simple solution nice and efficient

This reminds me of the time people would stop playing during pvp because the though that their team such and felt that they should do nothing else but sit and watch their teammates die over and over again. After 1min of doing nothing, they should be booted for about 2 hours (as others stated) before they could enter again.
