ok lets say i finish the gvg - i still cant hit the other player for 1 hour from last gvg hit - the mechanics of the game regard a 'gvg' hit as a regular pvp hit 

 

now im pretty sure i can pvp a player then probably do a gvg hit 2 mins later 

 all im getting at is each type of attack should be bound by its own rules

If you are in a gvg and hitting a person and decide you want to pvp that target you have to wait 1 hr from last gvg hit ?

 

it seems like GVG and PvP should be completely independent of each other 

 

 gvg hits should be 2 mins and pvp 1hr between hits 

 

but since each type of hits are totally different in nature why does a gvg hit dictate that i cant pvp for an hr ?

What is wrong with fallen swords economy ? 

 

right now fsp per gold exchange is at all times high with averages of 220k gold per fsp 

 

gear value is very low (ff gear sometimes selling at 1 fsp - this is really bad since its 10 fsp + gold costs to ff any gear) 

 

AH used to be packed with anything and everything at all times - now half the time you search for something and nothing is there 

 

i understand lower fan base is part of the problem 

 

back in the day before drop rates got tweaked / 'fixed' the game was flooded with gear during events (maybe overly so)  but now that stuff is dropping less you would think value of stuff would rise but it hasnt 

 

used to be the hunting of se's for gear was of some value but now the se logs show at best 2 or 3 drops per 10 se's 

 

with all gear being fragable  i think we could go back to the old ways of getting drops - it would help the composers and maybe stimulate the economy 

 

 

there used to be bidding wars on the potion of supreme luck (lvl 1k find item)  now this potion is still the best around but its not very effective - any buff of 1k+ should be powerful but the drop rate with this pot is average at best

i have seen the invisible invader be out for weeks at a time - not too long ago our guild finished killing off the invisible invader and once it was dead all kill logs in the scout tower disappeared -i figure this was because it had spawned weeks before hand

u can bounty every hit - on the bb they get 2x xp loss - so even if they 100 stam you / every bounty on them costs em double even with soft 10 stam clears = 2 100 stam hits

here is something way off topic but a new suggestion - ok we have titan doubler that gives 4 per kill - what would happen if that was made a chance buff ? this way adds an element of luck and not just speed

i read this topic and would like to offer my thoughts on the new titan - i started hunting this titan mid-day and kept at it for hrs then had to go to work but got off work and went and secured it -solo  -i spent 6+ hrs hunting it - one thing that irritated me the most is it has a tendacy to jump after just  1 or 2 hits . one other thing is you dont know when it jumps cuz of another player killing it nulling ur search - i like the idea of an arrow pointing either up or across depending of where u are compared to it thus giving just a general direction of where it is

i see 3 main problems that is causing the bb to be dead and bounties not being cleared 

1 ticket cost to clear lower lvl players

2 xp loss for lost combats 

3 counter bounties

 

why should a higher lvl player try to clear lower lvl bounties ? you have to pay a high cost in tickets to accept bounty for a little reward 

why should players around same lvl try to clear bounty ? they need to be extremely buffed and take chance on losing their own xp 

 why should lower lvl players attempt to accept higher lvl bounties ? its a lose / lose situation between buffs and xp loss

 

with counter bounties why should anyone try to clear bounties ?

i have an easy solution to this problem - there is a max cap on how much xp can be lost -then why not just add a min cap to xp lost - if min cap is not met then remainder of xp to reach min cap is taken from player and reward sunk at end of 48 hrs

yep i agree with EpicP 

 

the problem with the ladder besides the now huge lvl ranges is the fact that mostly its pvpers vs other pvprs and a few newcomers -the newcomers get pounded by those that are experienced so they lose interest fast despite the rewards 

 

this leaves it pvpers vs pvprs -this in turn leaves the pvpers bored and they dwindle as well 

 

here is a thought run seasons with xp loss on a test server like ur planning to do on global event so you can see how well or how badly it does before tossing it out there as a live event -this way if it goes badly (as i suspect it will) you can just reset or tweak it along the way 

 

suggestion for the auto bounty system -- using gold as a determining factor is a flop but i think using xp loss as a factor would be better as the only variable amount is the stam used 

 

say 1 point for any 10 stam hit / 2 for 20 / etc 10 for 100 

after a set amount of points get added you get auto bountied 

 

we saw with the seasons how the auto bounty was flawed using gold -you could hit players all day with no gold and very little chance of a bounty

another flaw is deflected hits - if i deflect a player they should not be able to hit me again in less than an hr - had 1 player earlier got deflected 5x in less than 15 mins
