Hey all.

 

Here's a list of the patch notes for Game Update 1.5 which will hit the servers on Monday at 11am (UTC - London time). The game servers will be unavailable and offline for approximately 2 hours while we update the game. During this time please download the latest version of the game from the App Store, Google Play or Steam.

 

Features

  • A new interior structure has been added, the Situation Room, this structure will allow Alliance members of rank Officer and above to create Rallies. Players will require a level 10 Headquarters in order to build the Situation room.
  • Rallies are deployments that can up to 2.5 million in units in size, and can contain the troops of multiple alliance members, the creator of the Rally will specify a briefing period, in which Alliance members have time to donate troops before the Rally is deployed.
  • When joining the Rally, your troops will deploy to the main Facility of the Rally owner and join into a Rally deployment. This deployment cannot be attacked by other players.
  • As many alliance members can donate as needed in order to reach the rally capacity, however each Alliance member may only donate once.
  • Alliance have a limit of 10 concurrent rallies, regardless of stage.
  • Rallies travel at a speed of 3 regardless of troop composition and cannot use fuel boosts.
  • Destroy attacks on Facilities no longer prevent defenses being salvaged.
  • The amount of defenses the ‘Defensive Salvaging’ research salvaged in combat has been increased for levels 1 through 9 for each skill I, II, III and IV.
  • You can now share combat-related notifications with your alliance.
  • Selecting territory sectors in the world now displays an Alliance name when possible.
  • Mailing list can now be joined from in-game.
  • New event type added : Dark Activity added. We'll be posting start times for the event shortly after the update goes live.

Platform Specific Fixes

  • (ANDROID) Fixed push notifications not being sent to some devices.
  • (STEAM) Steam version now caps at 60 fps in response to players reporting extremely high frame rates.

Performance

  • Improved responsiveness of opening windows.

Bugs

  • Fixed an issue where heroes experience loss from dying was higher than expected in some cases.
  • Fixed an issue when clicking to view Nuclear Strikes the panel wouldn’t always close correctly.
  • Fixed an issue with units being sorted differently each time a troop deployment panel was opened.
  • Fixed a bug where the text for the deploy options would be blank.
  • Fixed language format exception in every language file when alliance help was completed.
  • Fixed a bug where the level of the enemy hero sometimes wouldn’t be displayed on a scouting report.
  • Captured heroes displayed in a player’s extended profile now correctly display their rank.
  • Fixed an issue where the world map tutorial would display even if you had already visited the world map.
  • Fixed bug where requesting help was not boosting the time correctly for the production queue at times.
  • Fixed a bug where some deployments would stay on the deployment screen until you closed the window even if they already completed.
  • Fixed a bug where boosting or requesting heal on healing units could cause a disconnect.
  • Fixed a bug where the client would be able to add hero XP to the hero even if the hero is dead, resulting in an incorrect event score displayed to the player.

With the rallies do the troops leave from the originators base? Also do the troops have the research level of the person donating or the person conducting the rally? Will the troops have to be sent to the originators base with a ship? How many players will be able to donate at one time? Once all the troops are in one spot will you be able to teleport your base? Will you be able to perform more than one attack per rally? Sorry for all the questions. I have more but will start with these.

Q1) With the rallies do the troops leave from the originators base?

 

A) When joining the Rally, your troops will deploy to the main Facility of the Rally owner and join into a Rally deployment. This deployment cannot be attacked by other players.

 

Q2) Do the troops have the research level of the person donating or the person conducting the rally?

 

A) The troops will use the stats and research of the rally creator.

 

Q3) Will the troops have to be sent to the originators base with a ship?

 

A) The troops will use a ship to travel to join the Rally, but the rally itself doesn't use a dropship.

 

Q4) How many players will be able to donate at one time?

 

A) As many alliance members can donate as needed in order to reach the rally capacity, however each Alliance member may only donate once.

 

Q5) Once all the troops are in one spot will you be able to teleport your base?

 

A) Teleporting your base will cancel any rally in the 'briefing' period.

 

Q6) Will you be able to perform more than one attack per rally?

 

A) Rallies are for one attack only, you will however be able to create another as soon as your current rally completes.

The Prophet thinks that this will only assist his Disciples when ridding the Region of the scourge that is running rampant.  The Prophet knows that the Adminz are working diligently to improve.  

 

With 90% of the players on Region Delta inactive and 3 players higher than all other active players.  The Prophet hopes that you change the narrative to engage more Aliens that others.  

 

The Prophet would like the Adminz to develop a level 10 or above Alien that will appear as we teleport.  Once they land they are then able to take over tiles.  Only one of the 3 or a situation room group would be able to take one out.

 

Prophet wants the power to change the game.

Thanks for fixing the issue regarding defenses not being healed (as per research level) after attacks. Looking forward to the rally feature. My one question for now is, will rallies be affected strictly by the level of the situation room?

Ok game updated, logged in. HC could have mentioned there was a new item (Classified Documents) required to upgrade past level 1 (without using shards). Do the developers even tell support what they're doing?

We'll post some news in game shortly about the Dark Activity event. This is how you obtain the new Classified Documents.

Why the rally does only 5% dmg on a base ? Wasnt supose to do more dmg ?

Every 500k troops allow the rally to do an additional 250 damage up to a maximum of 1250 damage. (12.5% of a facility HP, 25% of an Outpost)

Did you also decrease the world-scrolling speed ? (I am using keyboard arrows to move around)

 

It feels like the speed has gone from 10 to 5 on a zero-to-ten scale ; to my opinion, a 7 would be better.

 

 

If you didn't I am also interested in knowing it as I might have a pilot problem then (let's hope I don't).

The bunker feature sure is still in development along with some more base expansion. We're looking to release this in next month (march).
