I finally got the game to run, but now i get this message when it starts up:

 

Login Failed: Character data invalid, please contact support.

 

anyone able to troubleshoot this problem yet?

mmmmm i having problems too, let me try clearing my cache

 nope, when i click play it just goes to the picture with the white circle glow with different colours around it. cleared java cache and browser.

when i press play eldevin it takes about 15 seconds to load the next page in then i just get this

then nothing just stays on the picture.

It's not loaded the applet at all? Remember it's on a new url: beta.eldevin.com/beta if you made any exceptions to Java/adblock or whatever you may need to do that again?

When I first started...I realized Adblock was being a ******** to me with this applet.  Any time I moved my cursor outside the applet, it would try reloading again.

 

I've noticed now that I actually get stuck on the same screen as sdcrichy shows for a longer time than normal (up to a minute), but after that, the game loads rather quickly, more than before.

What browser/operating system do you use? And does this: http://www.java.com/...ad/testjava.jsp work for you? Maybe you need to update Java?

i use firefox nightly and windoes 8, i'm going to try the wife's laptop to see if i can play there. if so it might be the browser.

 

 

ok i can play on the wife's laptop which is windows 7 and firefox, and just tried my google chrome and can play so it must be the nightly browser thats not working with java.

java is working in nightly but not for the game. just been using google chrome to run the game with java, so must be an update to nightly that has caused it.
