Hi there, I'm going to have a go at clarifying the differences in the ranged weapons.

 

The daggers you describe are a thrown weapon with a melee stat on them. They're intended for use by assassins, warriors and templars. Those classes, based on the abilities they would use, will favor melee damage. It's pretty useless to them to have ranged damage on any gear they have equipped because they simply won't use it. It would be a wasted stat.

 

Crossbows and bows are intended for rangers. They have ranged damage on them. There are also main and off handed weapons with the ranged stat on them (which would normally be melee damage because you're hitting things with them) because melee damage has no benefit to a ranger.

 

Incidentally spell casters (prophets and mages) also have their own ranged weapons and main hand weapons with spell damage on them.

 

I wouldn't say we've messed anything up. Rather we're trying to let people choose what is most beneficial to their build.

 

As for weapons available to you, there's a crossbow available in Weaponsmithing at level 11 (I see you've leveled a little since making this thread). Either that or you can buy a level 12 crossbow in Deadeye Bows (to the top left of the fountain in Eldevin City on your map).

Thanks for your suggestion. We do read them all, even if we can't provide feedback on them all. We do watch for what the community is interested in and make design decisions influenced by that.

 

 

Please try not to double post. If you have multiple suggestions, make sure they're all in one place.

 

I'd like to provide a correction here. Your suggestion is much more likely to be given consideration if they're separated out. This is because it's easier for us to see what it is the community likes if we can identify a single point or idea in a thread. Please don't make huge lists of suggestions, but rather try to add to conversations that are already in progress and keep separate ideas apart from one another. :)

 

Of course try not to double post within a thread, but I think we're talking about several threads on differing subjects here.

Hey guys.

 

The spawns in those areas are 50% of each creature (as evidenced by both of you finding the ones you *didn't* want). However, say you need boars and you go and kill all the boars. When they respawn there will be 50% of each (the boars and the deer), effectively reducing the number of the creature you want by half compared to what was already there when you arrived.

 

If you clear out all the creatures in the area of the ones you want, you should see the ones you want spawning around 50% of the time.

 

I'll have a look at keeping a constant 50% split in those areas for a coming update. :)

Oops!

 

He needs you to have Shattering the Seal at stage 2 or higher and Relics Long Forgotten completed. I suspect you're missing the Shattering the Seal requirement. I'll look into getting this fixed. :)

Essentially, what shows on the top list is what you've chosen to be your main character. That main character could easily be level 1. No bug here.

 

(Before anyone says anything, I'll clarify that I know it was probably some kind of April Fools. Just wanted to explain for those who may not get it.)

 

As for a username full of underscores, we may have to look into that. ;)

Hi there. Have you tried clearing the Java cache? There could be some issue with what you've downloaded previously that is triggering Java to keep downloading certain files.

Unfortunately, the items that were released with the founder packs were mostly exclusive. This means we really can't redistribute them. It would be unfair to the people who already have them. If they choose to sell those items for higher prices, they're entitled to. Even if it seems quite a high price, if they hold out for long enough a buyer may turn up.

 

Sorry that's not really the answer you expected. However, your picture made me grin. I'm going to go poke an artist and mention tutus to them right now. :)
