there is a fact 99.9% of the actual players will testify there is no need at all for hp unless the item is for arena use only.

thats not a opinion its a statement of fact, because at lvl 1500 plus and specially at 1800 plus you can muster 70k plus damage so hp aint saving you its just a wasted stat

I also scratched my head a bit when I saw a large amount of hp in the 845 set.

And I do think the dragons arw pretty awesome looking

There may also be a chance that these sets were aimed at fulfilling one sole purpose: A great opportunity to tank up with compofrags. Even while 2-3 sets actually did turn out truly amazing, I rather see opportunity here as a fragfarmer. My true disappointment was that, just as usual, hcs simply had to wait for me to finish my hunt yesterday and left me little chance to actually participate here. Ah well - I'm used to this, and I guess I'll just have to go with 3 days worth of stam back to one of the realms I hate the most xD 

 

Ah well, life as a pixelfighter is harsh. I just hope that when a global event comes, it won't bottom-burp me in the face at 200-300 stam, with stalker and smashing hammer still active from my freshly de-staminated hunt.

My comment is the same as most that is already here. Great job on the art! BOOOOOO at the stats of the new sets. I hope there is more method to this madness. I feel trolled. Great for composing I guess. Thanks

First reaction: thanks HCS for an attempt at addressing sets that have sets that deal with more of the other aspects of the game while avoiding sets which don't "appear" to be necessary for one-hitting... you know that crazy stuff which is actually a larger portion of the game and some players have been clamoring for attention to be dedicated to, like, uh...PvP and Arena, GvG, Relic attack and defense.

 

However, I don't have as much knowledge in those areas as many others do.... so it may well be that some of those players also think these sets are useless.

 

As BG commented, some will like, some won't. No comment on the latter portion, though I really think that they're not affected by this. So, as usual, I don't much understand the complaints.

 

Regardless, these sets really spawn my curiosity. Suddenly (and admittedly with a severe lack of knowledge), skills like Chi Strike, Ageless, Anchored and Severe Condition "appear to me" to be getting interesting.

 

And that it turn, really makes me wonder what the "rumored" new buffs have in store. To use one of my favorite FS Home Page HCS quotes: "Who knows?"

 

That's all simply conjecture.

 

Perhaps, I'm simply easy-to-please, but I see this, at the very least, as a chance for those who were away on vacation to farm their LE frags.

 

As for me, I already enjoyed the new artwork and creature descriptions. I'm satisfied ,oP

Sorry to take it off topic (just slightly), but why is the level 1120 LE Dragon set items named differently? One is "Puntalis Boots" and the other is "Puntaliss Weapon"?? Maybe just an oversight? Give them both double "S's" or both just one "S" lol... just a nitpicky thing. Carry on!!

As I have said, I have listened to a lot of the suggestions and have a large list of possible set/stat options for future sets as well. Some people won't like what's on these ones, other players will.

Like i said...love the fact you listened and went def/armor because the lower levels are lacking the ability to build a decent hybrid set....BUT this set did NO good to anyone IMHO.

 

 

Sorry if you disagree or take this as whining but when i see the same thing happening over and over....a few higher level players dictate what the game gets and what it doesn't because obviously their opinions are the only ones who count

Love the art and how the gear looks cosmetically.
A bit disappointed with the gear combinations and the stats.

 

Like some have pointed out, yay, LE gear to turn into fragments...

I understand not everyone will like the sets BigGrim. And i also understand you took data from that thread...but i can clearly read 3-4 players agreeing on sets needed in certain ranges and you went ahead and used 1 suggestion from 1 person who was not agreed with? just doesn't make sense my bovine friend

My feedback:

 

i.) Glad to see sets using that armor + HP combo. As said by others before, they are usefull in other aspects of the game apart from regular hunts (personaly, I consider there is lots of potential to be explored in the HP stat, which should be more then a "formal" and unused stat);

 

ii.) Awesome artwork on the dragons;

 

iii.) Very bad to ask from sugestions from the community for these new LE´s and then come up with this. When you ask for sugestions, you should be ready to give positive feedback for the majority of them. Sure 1 or 2 users have required for this, but the majority of the community didn´t. If you were thinking in going this way it was better you didn´t asked for sugestions previously. It may end up being a great improvement for the game, but sure wasn´t due to the community (as a whole...) contribution or expectations...;

 

iv.) Keep up the good work. Christmas events were great.

I am thinking the art work for the dragons are beautiful. The gear as to what I am looking at is interesting. I'm reading useless it all depends how you use these gear. I find that hp helps in stealing relics, arena, and other types area where you extend hp better your shot of another buff kicking in the struggle.  I do not see these items helpful in hunting much but there are lots of other options.  New gear represents new creative options.  I like the pair gear types makes me wonder how I can use those stats with other gear. I am thankful for each change and random variable HCS gives the game.  I hope in the next event though we get some gear to do more with gvging or bounty board aspects. Sometimes I think we forget there is a world here that is more than pvping or hunting involved. Thanks and it is not meant as a rant but meant as a reminder there is a lot of game to cover call fs.
