We keep an in-house development server for testing upcoming builds. Sometimes we have to perform large tests...

Update: I have decided to remove the download link for now as I've been getting a lot of requests to where my file is hosted and do not have an alternate storage location at this time. Additionally, I believe it may be prudent that if interest in such a guide continues, major updates are done so that it is aligned with the state of the game. Thanks for all the views over the years! Have fun!

Hello fellow New Earth citizens!
I have been working on a guide for players to learn the main concepts of the game. The guide is 64 pages in length with a cover page. The hope is that it can ease the learning curve that new players experience when playing this game. Through asking questions and getting some tips from my fellow alliance members of The Hive, I was able to create this finished product.
The guide took me numerous hours to complete over the course of a couple of weeks, with most of it going towards research, screenshots, editing and formatting, and of course the composition of the document.
I welcome feedback on the guide and will keep the major components of it updated as changes are made to the game through updates. Keep in mind that I did not receive any sort of assistance from the developers in creating this guide nor any sort of monetary contributions. I did it in hopes of helping new players (some veterans may find it of interest as well).
The PDF is around 8MB in size. It's a good thing I am providing the PDF as the Word document was around 77MB in size.
>> Download the guide in PDF format (REMOVED)
Note: the table of contents may not be clickable when viewed in browser. It is recommended to download the PDF to enjoy the capability to click on the section you want to go to via the table of contents.
Developers: Thanks for allowing me to share the PDF with fellow players!
Thanks and enjoy!

The command post becomes available to build once you have a level 3 HQ and a level 1 Medical bay. Once you build it your hero will become available.
The hero is a really useful unit which you gain experience for. As they level up you can spend skill points on some very useful abilities The hero is also great for sending on marches as they can hold a lot of resources, and are quite strong for combat too!
We'll take note of things people find confusing and see what we can do to make them clearer.
much much much thxs for this info...and, that is all someone had to say on global chat last night..instead of laughing at me and not giving me any help..when all i asked was how and where do i make my command post...and now to see how simple that answer could have been...again thxs..game really intrigues me since it is different than any other type of game i have played on phones..

Don't know if this has been suggested before.
(And i'm sorry if it has been)
But this would be pretty neat!
Rock/Paper/Scissors
1. You declare a rock/paper/scissors Challenge with someone.
(Example: When you're using the Hug Emote/Mistletoe)
2. They'll right/left click you (Depending on how you set your mouse buttons) and select the option that says Challenge.
3. If they accept it's game time. You'll be locked on and in a battle.
4. May the best man/woman win.
Side Notes: a random player can come and accept the challenge, even if you challenge someone else (Just like the other emotes)
Thumb Wars
1. You declare a Thumb Wars Challenge with someone.
(Example: When you're using the Hug Emote/Mistletoe)
2. They'll right/left click you (Depending on how you set your mouse buttons) and select the option that says Challenge.
3. If they accept it's game time. You'll be locked on and in a battle.
4. May the best man/woman win.
Same Rules/Methods apply, as stated above.
Additional Notes: Side notes apply to both side. Don't get mad if you lose.

Those "trash mobs" in ASV are assassins with bleeds and stuns. They use eclipse and then their damage is boosted for a short amount of time and they're using bleeds that already ignore defense and armor. So you can't exactly call them "trash."
And what Guth said--I love the bosses compared to the trash mobs that take twice as long to kill now. That time between the first and second boss in ASV--I'm looking for razor blades to slit my wrists. I'd rather bleed out than spend another hour to get to the third boss.
But...I do appreciate you taking the time to explain the change to us. You have the cojones to face the population.

After looking for it for weeks I can safely say there is no tea at all in Eldevin.
For a UK based game this seems like a rather huge oversight.
How on earth can a game survive without a proper cup of tea?
Therefore I suggest the Cows introduce tea to the game.
The easy (but boring) way would make the shopkeepers sell tea alongside the water and beer they are selling.
A much more interesting way would be a quest that makes you make your own cup of tea.
First you get some materials to make a cup or glass. Peter the glass maker in EC can help us with that.
Next we grow tea at a farm. Tea can be low level because everyone should have access to it.
Then we get some water (from a well) and boil it. This can be done at the cooking area or the alchemist. And now we add the tea to make a proper cup of tea. Depending on the tea we may add milk (cooking ingredient) or lemon juice (alchemy ingredient) to it.
Last but surely not least, we share the proper cup of tea with our friends.
And since a cup of tea a day isn't too much to ask this quest can be a daily one.
The reward of making, drinking and sharing this cup of tea may be a few artisan awards and a nice group buff. Or something equally nice that the Cows think of.

Hi there folks, I just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. My name is Craig Withers, but you'll see me posting here as Tornik. I'm the new Social Media and Marketing Graduate for Hunted Cow. The more eagle-eyed of you may have noticed the job posting advertised a while back.
It's my job, amongst other things, to grow the audience for Hunted Cow's games. What this means is that I'll be the one running our Twitter, Facebook and other social media presences. I think it's safe to say that in the past, we've not really made the most of these, and we plan on changing that from here on out.
We've already got some very exciting ideas on where to go, and we'll be ramping up steadily over the next few weeks. In the meantime though, if you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to either comment here or drop me an email at press@huntedcow.com.

Hi folks,
We've seen a lot of you asking about solo dungeons, we're always listening to you guys/gals and I hope you'll be happy to know that we are going to be working towards making the dungeon part of the game more solo friendly.
So without further ado, PhurieDae has kindly agreed to share some of the awesome work she's been doing for the game.

It has to do with me and not being able to drink a bloody potion to save myself. Please, please, please put a lock on the potion bar. What will it take? My first born son? He's yours. Rumplestillskin. Anything. My soul? What will it take?

Well...until L3fty or PhurieDae give me my Thrade familiar, I still cry "unfair".
I mean think about it--if anyone under level 45 can't kill the void elemental summon yet it can kill them, it's unbalanced. A lower level cannot possibly fight that off so now the match is 5v4. If Ben for example were to summon the void elemental, that thing would have 16,000 life. So really, even if that's where the mages chose to spec into, it's essentially an extra team mate. (Mages take note.)
