Note this is just a question based on what I've been reading. Is the main issue here that you feel the high level composed potions have an adverse affect on PvP? And a solution to this would be to restrict (or cap) some of the potions levels when using in PvP?

before I start, I am a 60 composer, was one of the first 10 to reach that level, until level 58 I bought my frags from farmers at 80-100 frags / 1 fsp, did global events every time with global booster 863, spent over 15k fsps to level composing, buy frags from farmers and 100s of frag stashes, I had 3 composing bugs that destroyed and took 1000s of my frags and I lost all my SE frags because of this bugs and HCS had to fix the bugs 3 times for me but never returned any lost frags back to me :( (biggrim can prove this, we talked many times about it)

 

last year after I got level 60 composer I started to pvp

 

pvp ladder band

there was a player who was always buffed with composing pots the whole time for 2 months, he always got first place after reset, I joined the ladder band and used my composing potions, for 1 month I got first place every time, the other composed player did not know how to pvp, only to keep himself with composing potions 24 / 7, I always got first place, he alwas got second place and the others in our band never hit us, they gave up because they had no chance against our overpowered composing skills, they only had 175 buffs lol

pvp activity only increased for me (and the players who used composing too)

for the others pvp activity decreased, they knew they did not stand a chance against our stats

 

pvp

2-3 weeks I hit for gold and prestige, won 100% of my battles with composing pots, less that 5% hit back but everyone lost against my composing pots

pvp activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

for the others pvp activity decreased

 

pvp bounty board

3 weeks there were bounties on me, more than 60 bounties expired, players stopped placing bounties on me because they would expire too, many bounty hunters took my bounties but nobody was able to clear one bounty, all expired, only 1 player started using epic global skills against me, after 20 straight losses he used composing potions too and after 2 hours he gave up, he won 4 times (everytime with 2 or more luck skills activate together), I deleveled many players defending on the BB, I never posted anyone, they lost enough against my composing skills

pvp activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

for the others pvp activity decreased

 

gvg

for 1 month I won all gvg attacks, I hit offline, online, unbuffed, fully buffed, in epics, in pvp setup, did not matter, I hit everyone in my range, I could not lose with composing pots against them and never lost, nobody attacked me for 1 month while I stayed in composing, after I stopped using composing pots gvgers started attacking me again

gvg activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

 

that was the last time I did any pvp, I retired from pvp, a pvp / gvg system where composing players have a win button against players who use 175 buffs, for gvg a composing player can easy win against a pvp setup players with full buffs, reason why many guilds stopped buffing members in gvg, this year and last year I was always attacked by a player with composing pots (ke, sh, coordinated attack, flinch,...........), a pvp / gvg system where there is no challenge

yes, they do, but not only on pvp, gvg and bounty board too

 

And a solution to this would be to restrict (or cap) some of the potions levels when using in PvP?

in my opinion it is best to cap the potions at 200, players can have a better and fairer chance when they use buffs at 175 to 192 against them

 

seeing things live would be best for you hoof

look at gvg attacker when they attack, most of them use composing pots because it is safer, defender has no to little chance against them

look at the BB, gvg, pvp pladder when players use composing pots how easy they beat the other targets

I am fine with pvp rewards that increase pvp activity

this reward post is good

 

I would like to see different rewards that would not only encourage pvpers but other play styles (levelers, farmers, ....) to join the pvp ladder

 

rewards that I would like to see:

  • pvp and hunting crystalline gear with great stats but different durability (for hunting gear low durability because you always use UB and hunt for a "short" time, finish hunting usually before your UB expires; pvp gear medium durability because you use them a lot longer than for hunting and the gear will be used when you are offline too, sometimes with an expired UB and it will lose faster duration that the hunting gear)
  • pvp and leveling bound and unbound potions with diffrent durations (yotekiller post https://forums.hunte...-2#entry944510)
  • frag stashes (being on the pvp ladder and spending stamina and frags for composing pots drains a lot, they can get some frags back with buying frag stashes from the frag shop paying with tokens)
  • upgrades (reserve stamina, max stamina, .....)
  • unique special potions that are only availabe from the pvp ladder  (like a prestige-LIB potion that does only work on prestige or a wrath potion that increases all stats by 5-10%)
  • increasing potion duration with adding extra x tokens (could use same interface as composing without frags but with tokens)
  • EPICS but will need a lot of tokens, long and difficult to get
  • add stamina gain per hour purchase-able with tokens (max 5-10 stamina gain), long and difficult to get (this will encourage other playing styles to go for them too)

I believe the more different rewards for different playing styles are added the more activity the pvp ladder will draw in smile.png

some will go for the frag stashes, others for the sets or stamina gain, everyone has different priorities

 

please make inventor II not work when inventing pvp ladder gear

important from his post is please make inventor II not work when inventing pvp ladder gear, we do not want flood ladder items, make them last longer

 

 

HCS please do not bring pvp ladder back before you have worked out the system and the rewards, we do not want the same thing (chaos and big changes) to happen as during the pvp season, I do not mind waiting for the complete pvp ladder in september if it means you will work on it and improve it until then smile.png

I am really dissapointed, after 6 years of constantly watering down pvp and then telling us that the new system will move how pvp used to be, we get a system that is even watering down pvp even more

 

bounty board:

1 hit bounties? seriously? 50 stam will take the same xp as a 100 stam would curently take but that means everyone will get a soft clear (10 x 10 stam) from the BB, no more punishment on the BB

 

in the orignal pvp system you could lose unlimited levels on the BB, then it was watered down to 5 levels and now to a soft clear

 

gold hitters will be at disadvantage in the new system , getting bountied but someone smashing for xp will not be bountied

 

no more bosting bounties by players??

 

no more smashing bounties or defending guildmates??

 

Titan League:

domcorvis is right, this favors EOC and high composers (lucky me tongue.png )

 

2500 vs 250 player? does not matter how good a pvpr the 250 player is, he has no chance of winning

 

how does deflect work, will it be removed??

 

when will you remove the ladder, this week when you start testing the new system?

 

what about ladder tokens? the promised new rewards never came for years and the current ladder items are worth next to nothing

 

 

I only see 2 good things from this pvp system

 

1) xp prestige (bound)

 

2) 'open pvp' but I have been playing this game for years and think they will make pvp protection very cheap or extend it a lot

 

I am really dissapointed, after 6 years of constantly watering down pvp and then telling us that the new system will move how pvp used to be BUT all I see is watering down, reducing xp loss by a lot (you can now not decide to punish anyone on the BB, everyone gets same treatment on BB = 50 stam 1 bounty hit and worse is game decides for you when to bounty or if to bouny if enough gold lol

Thats the problem.

By old map i mean how it was before the last few updates.

one of the main reasons why the cows released the new map was because of the many scripts being used on the old map (classic map)

 

I am against any titans showing on the old map, keep them showing only on the new map

edit: reasoning for reference.. low levels cant buy gear that is soldout cos its highly wanted LE gear .. high level LE gear then low levels cant cash in during events ... SE's are always there and make for some lucky finds :)

Not sure it works with Global Events but I could maybe see combining Epics with other items. Possibly the stuff from LE's or the Arena. With a low invention chance for sure.

better not stuff from arena or ladder, put them from LE drops because everyone can easy get those LE drops :)

If the Teleport is just part of normal movement, there would be absolutely no need for LF & GF buffs.  Teleport as an optional buff just gives players a choice and doesn't break any existing game elements.

Instead of putting the teleportation into a skill, better implement it into the game and player will teleport to the location of this choosing but spend stamina like he would have if he was "walking" there 

 

this doesn't break any existing game elements and only has benefits for everyone :)

A level 175 Teleport results in a 35 second cooldown.

 

me and others have our hunting setups and will most likely take a long time before we can replace our current hunting setups with NEW HUNTING SETS to get the enhancement Temporal Phase

 

that means this skill will be at cooldown for 35 seconds for most if not all players for a long time until NEW HUNTING SETS are released to replace the old ones

 

have you thought about this?

non of the hunting setups in FS have the enhancement Temporal Phase, to get that that enhancement we would need get new setups and making our old setups 'worthless' for that skill

 

or will you add the enhancement Temporal Phase to current sets?

the vast majority I know are 1-hit-killing !!!

 

only a handful are not because they had most / all their level up points NOT in damage !!!!

not only are they missing the bonus damage from their level up points but the skills berserk & fury were not working / giving them any extra damage !!!

to compensate for the missing damage they use wither350+

they choose to put their level up points NOT in damage to boost their other stats (attack, defense, armor, hp) and logically they would not have as much damage as the majority of FS players who put their (most) level up points in damage !!!!

 

badpenny, if you are really using the hunting setup from the wiki and not 1-hit-killing then I am 99.9% sure that you have your (most) level up points NOT in damage !!!!

 

at my lvl I get about +10k damage from level up points + berserk + fury !!!

 

I am mentoring / helping a few smaller guilds with hunting, offline & pvp setups and everyone of them is able to 1-hit-kill 90+% of the time because they have their level up points in damage !!!!

they do not have relics to give them +10% damage and some of them do not even have perf fully forged hunting setups but are still 1-hit-killing !!!

I have most of my level up points put into the other stats, not damage

 

when I drink potions and am buffed I have less damage (7000-8000 damage) that players at my level who put their level up points in damage

 

it was my choice to put my level up points into other stats (for pvp) and not into damage like most players did

 

I might have lesser damage than most players at my level when I am hunting but in pvp my other stats are better than them

 

compared to years ago hunting is now easier and legendary items are cheaper

 

players leveled without smashing hammer and coord attack,

after getting smashing hammer and coord attack, new LE gears that have better stats than the old LE ones, .... players want it more easy to hunt?

 

we do not need the game to get even easier than now

 

ps: even after putting most of my level up points in other stats than damage, I am one-hitting 97% of the normal mobs, for champions I use a wither pot to one-hit ;)
