If you are using a mac book, use 2 fingers and tap on the trackpad for right click option. If you open system preferences, you can set up your mouse options for the trackpad there.
For the banking quest and after you read the diary. Left-click on the safe, choose one of the available options there, and then right-click it to enter the codes to open the safe.
