To all out there,

 

right now players kill Titans and Guilds get the TKP.

 

- If players from a Guild are able to do the 50% + 1, Guild get the Titan item.

 

- If players from a Guild do 50% or less, then Guild gets TKP only.

 

- If a Guild is on cooldown, players of that guild can still get the Titan item if she or he are able to do the 50% +1. However if that 50% +1 is not achieved players get ..... nothing at all.

 

So the suggestion is, the creation of players TKP.

 

Players only get TKP if:

 

- they have no Guild (for the minimum of last 7 days without guild)

- Guild is in cooldown

The market is already flooded with epics and prices are almost to point of give way now days. As titan hunter myself you can get two items already guild and personal why add tkp? Unless the cows plan to change epics and allow for say stat boosting like how the ward, hammer, steamwork for tiers. Or add tkp to solo players and guilds if you remove the titan doubler buff from game to add value for the epics. Just an opinion as felt titan doubler and teleport ruined the titan hunting enjoyment

i like idea, and why i voted no. the idea is about (ostensibly) "fairness" for individual against the "mean corporatist" guild, but guilds are valuable and need protection too.

Titan hunting has always been a guild activity. I imagine it will continue to always be this way. Epic market is already dead as is, titans sit out there for months without a secure, but there should be a titan rework of some kind. I don’t have the knowledge to suggest any ideas though.

I voted yes mostly because I believe it would also spark the update of a top 250 solo Titan Hunters... (# of Titans killed) I mean they have been keeping track of individual kills for medal progress, so i can't see it being super difficult to implement. However I've asked BG about this a couple times and his reply is always along the lines of "Titans are meant for guild/teamwork and should not be an individual thing" however, besides the Cow and certain seasonal titans all titans are solo'd and teamwork is not as necessary as it used to be. implementing solo TKP would hopefully change the narrative of titans requiring teamwork, and we may finally get that top 250 list, however I wouldn't mind an update just adding the top 250.

I think the market is already floded enough, with personal TKP a player could have:

- Solo secure with Guild cooldown.
- Farming Solo TKP. (Lets say 1/3 of an Epic worth, a bit more)

- Solo secure with Personal cooldown.

 

That would be 2,33-2,5 Epics every 7 days, instead of the 2 Epics every 7 days we have now.

What I'd really like to see with Titan Hunting is:

 

1 - A way to visualise your kills while hunting with personal cooldown (instead of only counting your Kill Streak).

 

2 - Somewhere that showed you which Titans you're on personal cooldown.

 

3 - A way to keep track of TKP for the guild, it would be PERFECT to be able to open a page on Titan Rewards for each Epic where a Leader could make notes regarding TKP...Something similar to the Guild Hall/Notepad would do, or maybe something even better. It's sad that every guild has to depend on outside forums to keep track of that.

They need to reverse individual secures while guild is on cool down, remove titan doubler (sorry but it should take more than 10-20 minutes to secure a drop) and make teleport not work on maps that have titans (too easy to dominate .. especially with teleport 200 potion). Lastly, you must have at least 4 guild mates on the map before you can earn any TKP on any titan (excluding quest titans), let's make it a true guild activity (maybe if you have Silver in medal you only need 3, Gold you need 2, Crystal or higher you can solo titan hunt). That would be my fix to titan hunting.

 

To compensate for making titan hunting longer, I would have an exchange rate for TKP to FSP on titans. Probably a sliding scale depending on the titans level (lower level titans would have an exchange rate of maybe 200-300 TKP for 1 FSP and higher level titans 400-500 TKP for 1 FSP). This would reduce epics coming into the game and make it easier for guilds to pay out titan hunters. 

 

Its a mockery that they have personal secures while on guild cool down. The whole point of guild cool down was to slow down very effective guilds from getting too many epics too quickly, thus killing the market on epics / monopoly on epics. I see it as a work around to guild cool down.

 

Side note, why isn't any of the secure information / cool down information in scout tower? A new player would have no idea about the rules. They list all pertinent information about gvg in the conflicts section, right?

I can see where you are coming from, but unfortunally I think the time for that is long gone

I really don't have a dog in this hunt outside of the fact that I hate Titans (never hunt them unless I absolutely have to) but I have to say 1 thing.... players quit due to the advent of personal cooldown. 

 

IMHO it should have applied only to seasonal titans only to give everybody that likes that sort of thing a chance for those limited critters, and should have NEVER been applied to regular every day titans. 

 

But nobody asked me, probably because I care little about the critters themselves.  But I think the FS community should be happy.  That said, I believe personal TKP is another step in the wrong direction.  Titan hunting should remain a guild activity, with all that entails.  I do think that now that we DO have personal cooldown, that the Scout Tower should be revamped to record who earned what for which Titan, so that guild officers can easily determine how to distribute whatever rewards are applicable.
