I know I know...but it's not a reason (or at least it shouldn't be). As I already said in another thread, it's not because it's permitted that can you can permit yourself to do whatever pleases you without consideration to others!Mamo, no-one owns the name For Fracks Sake or any version of it. This player has every right to call their Faction that.

Not your call. There is no reason why they cannot use the name. For Fracks Sake is not a sacred name. It's from a TV show.

Less seriously now: from a TV show, really? I was not aware of that. But...would it mean that it would -perhaps- be a copyrighted name then? Not your call. There is no reason why they cannot use the name. For Fracks Sake is not a sacred name. It's from a TV show.

No, it's not copyrighten. The word 'Frack' was used in the updated Battlestar Galactica. It basically allowed them to pretend to swear on TV.

DAMN! I would have swore that the first time that word has been used was in Quake! Thanks for the infoNo, it's not copyrighten. The word 'Frack' was used in the updated Battlestar Galactica.
PS: And look, all those discussions made this thread perhaps the longer "faction advertisement" thread ever (except the one of RC perhaps). Good for FFSF ^^
