They hoover their forums as well to alter perceptions, I have seen posts vanish and have heard long term bans for people for saying the wrong thing. No warnings just ban, then they don't answer customer tickets etc etc etc .

They call them warning points and yet you get them along with the banana.

Long time passed from post on lv 50, but it feal like a "mini dungon" when doing all quest in CC and have tank +healer and DPS or only tank+DPS.

new earth isn't their game it's owned by the company WG cells from the developers of world of tanks and others

 

they got paid for helping developing 

 

the fallensword app isn't out yet and i don't see how that would get them more income the player base is dwindling and most new players don't like the immense grind to get eoc and quit early.

Not quite right. It's was developed by HCS and was published by WG Cells.

I haven't played Eldevin in months, but it happened to cross my mind today. It seems like its slowed down a lot even from before it was released on steam. I think what kinda killed it for me was the grinding. Usually I don't mind grinding to level up skills, but grinding in Eldevin seemed to be particularly... idk, painstaking.

 

That and the lack of interaction with other players. I'm kind of a shy person so I don't talk much in-game, but when I tried to talk with people I was either ignored and made fun of for being low level/asking "dumb" questions  which stinks cause a few bad apples turned me off to trying to interact with people.

I have been playing 2 yrs now and have seen the bad apples slowly but surely replaced by good apples... the community has become a much kinder and more helpful group. Can't really say what brought this about but I sure welcome the change.

I've been here a little over 2 years and have seen a similar change with the interaction.

 

Every now and again, there will be some idiot that starts playing and tries to upset the apple cart and get attention, but in most cases the community stands together and ignores o disacossiates with the offending individual, to the point that he or she ends up leaving due to not recieving the attention ,good or bad, that they seek.

 

As Gotan has pointed out the community has become more supportive and helpful. That's providing the support given isn't abused to the point where a player just sits back and lets other people do all the work for him or her.

 

New players may still get a little stick now and again if they ask completely obvious questions, such as where something is when the quest info has already told them and they couldnt be bothered reading it, but in the majority of cases, these are in the form of joke replies, as long term players have answered these so many times, they like to add a little humour to world chat, to keep things light hearted, but then the real answer is usually followed afterwards.

However we intend to continue to fully support the game and still plan to release future updates, but currently we have no time-scale for these as of yet.
