What about the rest of the missing features that FSH did provide (except add self), as mentioned here? :
http://forums.hunted...e-6#entry888735

I do not understand why those FSH features have to be re-done, instead of just using the same design that worked so well in FSH. The current implementation requires more clicks, than what you needed in FSH.

The key words here, Doomie, my sweet, are *used to*.... that functionality of FSH has been long gone at my end... I do miss it, though ;)

The visual aspects of the FSHelper, back when I last saw it years ago, are too basic and didn't have much style. I didn't care a lot for the look of the helper. It was purely just function. Besides it being a different coding language, if they add functions to the game I want it to look good but still be efficient.

That self buff button was there right up until FSH became incompatible with the new version of greasemonkey, as far as I am aware.

If I reverted back to the 'unsafe' version It'd probably be still there I think.

Regardless, it was part of the FSH quick buff system, so there is no reason to not add in a 'quick self buff' button somewhere.

On the profile would be nice, but as I also saw mentioned, a floating link that appeared on almost all pages for self buffing, would be sweet too.

I just read all 6 pages of comments and curiously no one mentioned something related with the new Quick Buff system that is bugging me. I refer to the ability to add several targets to buff at once instead of having now to add (type) one by one, which is a big pita! Can we please have it back??

I also agree the new buff pop-up window should be bigger.

Other than that, thank you and congrats for all the implements you are trying to bring to the game.

ps: I don't use the FSH.

Still no news about this??

Would like to see the ability to single out a target quickly in the buff menu while mass buffing, for example the online guild members. I love that I can click on each target and get their active buffs dimmed. Now I would like to say, hold down the click on the target to get a small pop up that you slide the held down click to accept to single that target out. Click Buff Target.. This way you don't have X out all the other targets to buff that one plus you stay on the same screen to do it.

I dunno about the rest of you but I use the self buff button in the Guild Online Members list in the top right hand corner.

As for the highlighting/Low lighting, thanks but wouldn't it be an idea to start with the first player in the list selected? I didn't find clicking on them particularly intuitive.

Thanks for the fix Zorg, with highlighted buffs its now usable again.

The problem is much bigger than that though, I'm afraid.

If the goal was to implement FSH features, we are very far from it.

I appreciate every single step, and I'm sure the work on Quick buffs required a lot of work, but still many of quick buffs features that were in FSH are not implemented.

Buffs like Enchant Weapon [35] or Death Dealer [50] should never be highlighted, we only have them because of other skills requirement. If I buff someone with DW50 I actually damage the person I'm buffing cause everyone else will thing that skill is already active and will not overbuff it (that's why in FSH the level of skills already active was beside skills)

It was very useful to have a dedicated button to buff yourself with Extend, Reinforced, Buff Master and Guild Buffer, so that you didn't have to open the popup, buff yourself, close and repeat on the player you want to buff.

Stamina of the player you are buffing should be displayed in the window, you don't want to use 600 stamina buffing someone who has almost finished to hunt.

You should also be able to see player stats: its important to know if you have to buff Flinch and Shield Wall or Terrorize and Armor Boost, and you can also easily check if the player you are buffing can safely use Shield Strike or Armored Strike (and many other situations)

It seems a very long work, and this just to implement Quick Buffs... In the meantime with a single Firefox update we lost players name displayed in rank management, fast take from mailbox, scout tower in titan kill log, combat evaluator, and probably many other features.

At this speed, with all the work required, FSH will never be implemented, or probably only in a very small percentage.

Are you sure Zorg (cause im assuming you are the one working on it), that it wouldn't be much much easier for you to work directly on FSH and fix it, saving a lot of time (and probably making players much happier cause they will have all their feature back)?

Uhhhh. Is it me just being a noob or are some of these features suggested not in fshelper? I could've sworn I never saw my targets stamina nor was there a self buff for extend. I hope we can get rid of helper by getting the core elements into the game. Then we can hopefully reduce some of the more magical activity that takes place with enhanced helpers.

They were all there :) (before this update they all still worked with Firefox 30.0, except Extend and Reinforce buttons, that were lost a few month ago)

I don't remember ever seeing targets remaining stamina either tbh ..

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

From FSH changelog:

Revision 474

(Major) Quickbuff shows percentage of stamina of the player about to be buffed. ( issue 271 )

Revision 1208

(minor) FS: Fixed last activity not showing up on quick buff.
(minor) FS: Added red coloring to quick buff if the target has less than 10% stamina left (so as not to buff if they don't have the stamina to hunt).

As per feedback buffs, headers and the check all check boxes now have labels that can be clicked.

Also if you click on a player name in the list all that players buffs will grey out below, so you can see which they don't have easily.

This isn't working. My cashe is clear. I do have FSH running and I'm sorry you guys are a long ways away from incorporting FSH abilities, so I'm not going to turn it off. After using this new buff system a couple times I have to say it looks snazzy, but relatively ineffective. I don't need the buffs in color code categories, as I actually understand the buffs. BUT I could REALLY use seeing what buffs someone has on them and the list above - well at least it's there, but it's painful if they have a lot of buffs as then I'm basically going one by one.

1) consider doing all the FSH attributes you plan to do all in one roll-out
2) let players play with it before it's finalized. Heck - tell us you're going to try something from X to X server hours and to give you feedback if you don't want a test server. We can cope with an hour or two of the game in a test mode giving you feedback.

Make no mistake, I'm glad you're trying, but there's a deep lack of understanding of how things are applied in the game by those of us playing it (what works optimally) and figuring out how to overcome that will serve you well and all of us players.

Respectfully,

Kath

Keep in mind that if you keep your FSH script running, it might conflict with changes made in the game, and have undesired effects on functionality for you.

Click the person's name at the top (where all their buffs are listed), and you will see the ones that are on them change to a gray colour in your buff selection lists.

Edit: After I posted, I realized you quoted Zorg's post where he said this. So if it's not working for you, I would suggest disabling your FSH script. I understand you are attached to it, but the colouring does work within the game itself, and if that's what you're going for...

Doom's issue has been band-aided by bookmarking the Quick Buff page URL:
http://www.fallenswo...p?cmd=quickbuff

I'm posting this here so that anyone else who has their guild list hidden can also benefit from this info. smile.png

We now have to find work-arounds for missing FSH key features. FSH feature integration should not be like this.
While players still were working on FSH, a broken FSH, was mostly fixed within 1-3 days. For me it seems, server side implementation takes much longer. If there are not enough resources to do it fully server side, why not have a HCS staff member update FSh instead?

Do not get me wrong. I appreciate the work Zorg is putting into this.

Just with the resources available / developer time, and more than 50 different FSH features, it will take years, for a partly feature integration. More to integrate them fully.
