this game would of died long long ago if it wasnt for the helper a lot of you forget that it made so many tedious tasks bearable ..everyone says ban all scripts but someone who does coding tell me if you was good at making a script could the game really tell? i know ppl use macros to fill up there ah ..there still playing the game as they have never been caught so i assume they cant be ...

It wouldn't look like FSH if it was modified to script TH anymore...It would just look like a TH script lol. I don't see how it would be any harder to catch? No different than using a script that is just for TH?

Because it is operating inside the helper framework.

I only use FSH for one thing, and if they ban it, I hope they put that feature into the game for me

That does not matter, its function when TH would not be seen entirely different and not look like a TH script?... It does not mask it LOL. Personally i don't think anyone scripts TH anymore...I would give my reasoning on how it's impossible now with the speed limit/New map but i CBA.

And coders can modify Helper and have already done so that helper is approved gives the unscrupulous a doorway to bypass and get around HCS tracking methods...this one reason is why Helper must be removed from the game.

not if they implement the couple FSH features into the game

 

there would then be no need for FSH or any script

 

the FSH can be edited, players have done it and are still doing it

remember when the cows updated a couple of times the game and some FSH features got disabled or when FSH was not working because greasemonkey updated to 2.0? the last problem could be fixed by getting a lower greasemonkey version and disabling updates but without editing the FSH

 

I saw forum topics on how to edit the FSH because a feature was not working or to add a feature

the problem here is that once these players have edited their FSH it got changed and was not the untouched FSH version anymore that they downloaded from http://code.google.c...lenswordhelper/

 

the cows do not know how to distinguish between an edited FSH and an untouched FSH version (http://code.google.c...lenswordhelper/) because if they did know how then they would have banned the players who edited their FSH

Helper has a built in fast walk feature that can be customised, and disable its other features while hunting titans.

The built in fast walk only works on the old map (if the code still works). You can not disable all FSH features, just some of them. Do you have FSh running (even with disabled features) while titan hunting? If someone wanted to cheat with fast walk, it would be easier to modify the old banned scripts, instead of trying modify an already complex script like FSH.

I tracked someone soloing a titan last week doing 1400 kills per hour not in a small realm....2 players who compose have not logged off in months they can do so with impunity as Hoof and Zorg are tied up chasing other things..meanwhile the integrity of all HCS games is being demeaned and devalued. however players are doing these things needs to be stopped if that also involves permanently banning helper then I support it...the game is and was playable before it came along and in fact had its highest active player base before helper ever appeared.

If you suspect someone is using a script to cheat with titan hunting, then please report them. Banning FSH would not give HCS more time to investigate suspected scripters. More the opposite. It would increase their work load even more, when they need to implement all the features that FSH covers.

I lack to see how banning FSH will archive anything. Those who want to cheat, will find a way. If the rumored titan hunting script in fact exist, it has been around for so long, because it is difficult to detect.

Best way suggested before by MAJ is to add "players icons" on map so we could see them ... easiest way to see if theres someone cheating... and please add option to remove players from action list

And so what if a player finds another player cheating? What does it do if when reported no action is taken, if no detection takes place? As much as I enjoy the Helper's attributes I would much rather see ALL scripts banned and have the Helper incorporated into the game itself.

Actions cant be taken atm when someone claim there's someone cheating because theres no evidence...

with this feature you can give evidence easily by recording ..etc and i doubt anyone will try to cheat when they add it

 

Noobs can't live without FShelper and it has been out from long long time its not good to remove it and you know it will take years to implment it into the game as you said..i dont use it though.
