What about quests? I dropped some quest items whilst lvling. Would love to know what I can and cant keep in my small bp. Thanks for the level info. Have fun with all that data entry haha I do not envy you at all!

Also adding in...if a guild as a whole chooses an event...I think they should have to commit to that event for the day (So if there were several events to choose from...they cannot win them all). Think of it like the current temple, but as a guild, you choose which one you want, fsp, gold, xp whatever the possible options are...and then you can only battle for that 'prize' that day. Would be interesting to see what guilds went after what prizes and then a cooldown on that event if you win.

I like the idea in theory and I do  have concerns as how you think things will work and how they actually work end up a little off.

Just a thought...

 

What about rather than just FSP as a reward, we got things like +5 stam gain per hour for 24 hours if the guild wins something as a whole or some other type of reward rather than just FSP? I have nothing against winning fsp at all...but getting some other useful rewards would be interesting.

 

Would be a little reserved to the PvP as there is already so many negative attitudes towards PvP and players using buffs to break gear etc and not just to hit for a purpose or trading prestige. I have no real solution as I am not completely against PvP but I am not an avid pvper


Unofrtunately, I don't have the time to read through all the posts, so maybe this has already been suggested (if so, sorry for duplicating):

 

You might want to combine the idea of daily events (nice) with the idea of personal achievements (on which you seem to have given up), analogous to the guild achievements. This might be an interesting alternative reward.

For what I am suggesting, the old epics will still be available. The new epics will be craftable. The reason they will be kept low is that the possibility of 1 of 9 drops will keep a flood of them in the game. Who is to say that you will get the ring drop or the helm...it is random of course! Will add spice.

 

Yes I think the titans should spawn less often, however then I feel that the system for hunting them should change. Maybe a titan goes on cooldown not for a set period of time, rather a set number of spawns.

 

Example:

 

You hunt and secure a titan and put it on cooldown.

 

You then have to wait two spawns before you are able to hunt it again as a guild.

 

I just thought it would be a fun way to revamp old items. As for the price of them...they are easy to hunt now and shouldn't 'cost' people much at all. Deepwater can take 20-30 mins for 1800 odd kills with titan doubler...that makes like 450 hits on it. Many people would do that hunting.

 

Please note..the deepwater is a simple example. I know many others take a lot more effort etc to hunt.

I love my epics more than the next and its great to see some higher levels come into the game (through GvG). However, I feel it has really created a huge decline in the titan market. Great for GvG'ers and guilds who can successfully compete in GvG's along with the ladder market but titan epics are already at the lowest we have seen (mostly from titan doubler not really being doubler. x4 is really excessive imo and I think it should be 1:2 not 1:4 regardless of level). So I thought about how can we bring some of our most beloved epics back into being viable again and came up with the following:

 

Create a new titan that is some big disfigured blacksmith.

 

The titan does not drop an epic. They drop a component to create new epics from what we already have available in the titan epic pool. There are a possible 9 component drops of which each 51% kill or TKP can obtain just one random drop. One for each of the item slots.

 

With this item say for example the BDB (big disfigured blacksmith) drops a solid iron ring. This iron ring can be used in a recipe as a resource or item to weld with a lestus ring. Currently, its stats stand at +1 stam gain and +2 xp gain with around +25 stam. Once welded with the BDB item, it could say become +2 stam gain +3 stam gain and +50 overall stam. it is not necessarly doubling what is already there but adding a set amount to the item to just enhance it further to continue making it viable.

 

The BDB item can have stats on it maybe like +1 +1 just for something or more like the blank shield. I just thought maybe its a way to bring back in those items that were once so viable and now almost useless. Yes lower level players have access to them at more affordable prices but they sold at a loss to hunters and those who are paying big prices for them.

I am not a composer so I hold no stake or interest in this apart from being able to obtain pots off my fellow guildmates. This is what I see however,

- Many potions do have a cap regardless of level so they are not going to become super all powerful amazing potions of death.

 

- Since the cows released the game, players potions etc have gotten stronger. They need to. Creatures, gear, play styles of pvp and hunting etc has gotten stronger and we as players need to be able to have ways of staying with them. These do not mean win buttons however, they are available to everyone in the game.

 

- If the cows discussed expanding their game in regards to creating potions and developing composing further then a player has a right to discuss that said roadmap. Its a question, there is an answer out there.

 

- Lastly, Composing has stopped the rise and rise of fsp to have a permanent gold sink available. Before composing was introduced, we saw massive rises in fsp prices, the game was becoming very interesting with its abundance of items worth little to no value. It is great to see a use for these and to not see fsp at 300k gold. The pots available in composing will always be outmatched by those epic pots. Just as 2 or 3 years ago 500 was the highest pots AL, CONS, LIB now its 750. The game will only continue to develop and become stronger.

 

So after all that...what is the roadmap plan for composing cows? hehe

I remember back when I first started playing...there was a lot of debate about the relics...the cows made a solution that worked for everyone...we can have a max cap of 6 relics with decreasing bonuses for the more you hold. What relics guilds choose to defend and how well they defend them is up to each individual guild.

 

If they are not good enough to hold a relic, they are not good enough to keep it. It is about teamwork and wanting to defend the relics that are worth something. There are privileges in the game for having a guild that works hard and together.

 

Capping what types of relics one can take is just not an option since we already have the 6 relic max with decreasing stats. The stam and xp gain relics are premium for a reason. To encourage players to be the best so that they can have them and defend them with pride.
