Added bonus you can paint anything made in Carpentry and Tapestry other than the Dungeon stuff.
Every time you lvl up any of the 3 Newer Skills you will also lvl up your house. Meet the required lvl and you can make a bigger house with the next set of materials like Lithistle Timber and Bronze Nails. Same goes for Paintworks, Carpentry and Tapestry.

Paintworks
4 Grapes + 1 Mixing Powder = Black Paint
4 Pokeweed + 1 Mixing Powder = Purple Paint
5 Orange + 2 Mixing Powder = Orange Paint
4 Eigana + 1 Mixing Powder = Light Blue Paint
6 Coconut + 3 Mixing Powder = White Paint
To paint whole house:
300 Black Paint
400 Purple Paint
500 Orange Paint
750 Light Blue Paint
1000 White Paint
I also like the idea of possible mixing colors to create other unique ones. 
Houses
500 Lithistle Timber + 250 Bronze Nails
750 Elmore Timber + 375 Iron Nails
1000 Oaken Timber + 500 Silver Nails
So you would be able to purchase a house once you hit Lvl 5.
When you built your house, it will start out at Lvl 1 naturally.
Your house will go up in lvl as you use these 3 skills, Paintworks, Carpentry, and Tapestry.
Levels for you house would be 1,12, 30, and 48. (Can be adjusted )
So when you hit lvl 12, you can build an updated house with Lithistle Timber and Bronze Nails, Lvl 30 with Elmore Timber and Iron Nails and lvl 48 with Oaken Timber and Silver Nails.
