i read the whole explanation on features in the expansion, so i guess there is no desktop client in this one?

The desktop client is a release planned for the Steam Greenlight programme. After it's Greenlit, the client will be released.

The desktop client is a release planned for the Steam Greenlight programme. After it's Greenlit, the client will be released.
Actually, if the desktop client is ready to go before Eldevin is Greenlit, I believe we would simply release it for our current players anyway. There's no reason why we would need to hold it back. After all, there's no way of knowing how long Greenlight will take.
That said, at our current rate of progress we might well be Greenlit before the client is ready, but that doesn't mean we'd be keeping it exclusively for Steam.
