If they banned the FSHelper.. they could detect any script use because no scriot is allowed..

If someone is using the auction house to automatically post items in a way thats not possible wih the games code, i believe the cows will be able to detect such abuse..

To ban all scripts, gives a window to the cows to view any suspicious robot activity..

Whats not physically possible by human acions is easy to detect..

Not going to argue but i am going to leave it at this... Your false. Banning FSH will not aide in detection in anyway. FSH does extremely simple things. The scripts that the community are up in arm's about are scripts to do with various aspects Arena,TH etc... FSH doesn't even touch those aspects in the slightest. If your under the assumption that detecting script's is as easy as "viewing suspicious robot activity" your wrong. It's far more complex. As far as your logic goes it's not false? But translating that logic to code doesn't nearly work like that.

 

The fshelper isnt some made up coding language.. its like any coding language, in which it has to abide by certain rules and parameters.. with enough knowledge and trial and error, one could abuse that script like many have and will

If you give a cheater a tool, they'll learn to cheat with it..

Correct :) that's why programming language is so cool. But! You can't compare human language and programming language. Programming language has another layer of complexity. Sure any old programmer that understands the language can go back and read it and understand some of it. But programmers get to make up key words and give them their own unique definition etc etc. So in something that has 11000 lines there are so many unique terms that a random person glancing really wouldn't understand unless they are familiar with FSH code. So your definetly right when you say with enough knowledge one could modify FSH but why do that? There are so so so many reasons why not too, quite frankly i can't even think of one benefit? I don't think you really understand what programming and programming languages really are. FSH is a great tool and i think over the years people's judgement's have been clouded about it because they really don't understand "Scripting". I hope one day maybe zorg will come out with an official statement crushing all these rumors :).

 

Guess there really is no point in arguing with people who doesn't really understand what programming really is but i kinda wanted to get the information out there for all to see. I digress...

Right :P, I've become quite accustomed to spam clicking gear to do it in one refresh lmao. Sometimes i can even change bp pages and click here there too as well if it isn't all on one page haha. Definitely wouldn't mind something to get rid of this.

Since this thread got hijacked about FSH ... I'll weigh in as well.

 

I'm for keeping FSH as long as there isn't any automated feature in FSH that isn't in FS already. I would leave it up to the cows to decide which automation is okay for the game and which automation is not okay for the game. HOWEVER, everyone should have access to the same level of automation (which is Reborn's point I feel). If FSH mainly just helps reorganize pages, fonts, etc., I don't see the harm in that customization. The issue for me, and probably many others, is the automation aspect and stat configuring / gear set-up automation --> Not talking about combat sets. I know someone will try to troll me on that.

 

No to extra automation because it takes away skill from the game and is against terms of service. The stat configuring automation because it takes all the skill out of Arena, Relic captures, and PvP. People should learn how to put set-ups together and add stuff up. With chance buffs, its a crap shoot anyways haha.

 Good job on upgrading the game!!

 

can u add this feature of not reloading

the page when i wear different items??

or when i drink potions,

and when i change combat setups???

and anywhere else that it needs page reload in general!!!

that would make the game faster and more

user-friendly!

 

 

as far as the inactive players... can u clarify it

a bit more? what happens to an inactive players backpack?

I imaging some enhancements will have a lot of entries by now


I would assume that you will be able to order the results by level and by enhancement quantity.

I'll have to talk with Hoofmaster about it.

Yeah, that's what I think.
 

Maybe also the total including inactives in brackets? (Just because I love stats)
 
Wrath of Gurgriss Cuirass (Epic)

Player Backpack Total : 12 / (30)
Guild inventory Total : 3 / (3)
 
Auction House Total ? (Just to complete the numbers.)

Nothing happens to it. It's just not counted in the totals.

Hey there everyone

 

Next week we intend on pushing forward the following code updates :

Adding a preference to hide the Tavern Rumours notification.

Ajax take item on Mailbox (No refreshing occurs when you take items.)

and the following updates to the Ultimate Guide.

 

  1. Fix potions displayed to show all buffs accurately.
  2. The Player Equipped, Player Backpack, Guild Inventory Total Should not include Inactive account items, unless Guild Tagged.
  3. Add an 'Acquired from Quest' entry.
  4. Add a "Key Required?" entry to items. Useful for the Realm Chests. The keys are in the guide, maybe under each key you could list which chests they open.
  5. Search items by Enhancement.
  6. Add Frag Stashes so they show the contents of the stashes.

We hope you like these upcoming updates!

Will contact yuuz or pointy seeing it's just a small change and won't take any effort really. Will see what they think. You can change your theme you know as well. To make the yellow pop more.

Assuming that's in reference to the Eggs? If so, great, I'll take it off my list.

 

Along those lines, is there a thread for item "bugs" in UFSG or should we just report via ticket?

 

In my travels, I've come across a lot and try to keep track, but I get too busy....

 

For example, 1253 and 1255 common items do not show where they can be got. No drop, store, recipe, nothing. They're listed, but... yeah.

I'm thinking that they don't actually exist in the game, because all four items [two each at levels 1253 and 1255] show that 0 exist in backpacks, guild stores, or equipped. :o Ghost items!  :lol: But yeah so looks like they never actually got attached to their creatures. Not so much a bug in the guide as it is a game bug. Just my guess anyway.  :ph34r:

Some of it did, some of it didn't. Hopefully the outstanding stuff will get done this week ...
