Hi there everyone.

The Elemental Wraiths have arisen from the Light only knows where. All that is known is that these creatures are roaming the Realms, raining destruction on all who oppose them.

The Warriors of the Realms must gather together to rid the Communities of these horrifying creatures!

Elemental Wraith (Level 25)


The latest Global Event in Fallen Sword is now underway! In the Event, the Community must work together to destroy the Elemental Wraiths plaguing the realms.

Each player must earn a personal target for increasingly bountiful Frag Stashes (mouse over the event info on the World page for more details) while also helping the Community to attain the best total kills possible, unlocking the rewards for all.

The Global Event shall be live until 18:30 (Server Time) on the 22nd of March 2016.

For each tier that the community completes the reward will be as follows:

Bronze:1 x Global Bronze Frag Stash II
Silver:1 x Global Silver Frag Stash II
Gold:2 x Global Gold Frag Stash II
Crystal:2 x Global Crystal Frag Stash II
Ruby: 3 x Global Ruby Frag Stash II

If you qualified, the reward(s) will be delivered to your mailbox shortly after the event ends. Note that you get the reward for the tier that you have qualified for, for example if the community unlocks Gold, but you qualify for Silver, you will receive 1 x Global Silver Frag Stash. You don't receive the rewards from lower tiers, only the tier you have qualified for.
 
Also if you are placed within the top 100 event contributors you will receive an additional Ruby chest reward.

I guess the global Quest especially those that drop Frag stashs are the new staple for players in FS, like the legendary events of old. I understand that many of the composers at EOC. end of composing not content, need those frags to make their potions. I to when I saw this released thought, already!
I'm not saying that is unappreciated. but I for one can't afford to dump everything into this game, will never be able to make it onto the top 100 list. So there's really no point in me grinding through this event to get as many as I can. even though I appreciate that drops, anymore I only do the total needed to get the Ruby chest.
I know there was a new Forum post the other day about the new updates that are being done to the game. I saw how many players went changes to make the game faster. I have no problem with the game the way it is at the moment.
I will say this. I believe if BG had some real help. We could see another arc of the Present Darkness Quest. Along with updated Quest and release of the StoryBook Forest quest. there has not been released since July of 13. The last time before that was in 2011, which was the last time any of those Quest may have been updated. I really hope that it doesn't fall too far behind that its not considered a worthwhile cause

If it wasn't for the fact that I burned all my stam yesterday, I'd say "great timing!"

 

And with Easter events speculated upon... nuts, lol. Still, might be a nice shot for those looking for a top 100 global event medal.

 

Even so, many thanks for the frag event HCS. Greatly appreciated by myself, my frag buyers, composers and, of course, all those that use composing pots -wink, wink-

yes I couldn't agree more. I believe it's also evident from what people are saying in global chat. plus if you look at the bottom of the top 100 list. Almost 24 hours into the event and the 20 bottom players haven't even qualified yet. it's only the players that are close to EOC or have huge Stam Banks, that are going to benefit from getting the frag drops. I wasn't too far away myself, from being at full stam. I was looking forward more toward leveling this weekend. however I did start the event only to get half way through being qualified when I just became so overwhelmingly bored. I may finish at the end in a couple days, I doubt I will get my leveling in though

Some info... current GE mobs drop just commons and rares: 

 

My best (while I bothered to let it into my log) was: 

 

You gained 10 x Common, 5 x Rare Fragments by auto-opening the Fragment Stash dropped by 'Elemental Wraith (Global)'.

 

Within that mix, lowest on common frags was five and lowest on rare frags was 2.

Disagree completely, well... kind of, lmao. 

 

To tell you the truth, the real numbers I'd like to see are those that did 7k. 

 

Obviously this is a less enticing event for some composers as it's just commons and rares. 

 

But on the other hand, it might be a great opportunity, for those that want to, to get into the GE top 100. 

 

What I really like about it is the "decision factor" and everything is great. 

 

Low participation means people are speculating on Easter events and making personal decisions. 

 

HCS is notorious for that type of "thinking" and it does seem to me like FS players are "thinking".

 

That said, it's kind of interesting to me personally. I'm not saying it is that way, but it seems the end result of this GE will be a lot more about community as it was meant to me. It might also be helpful in gauging who/how many are after the GE medal.

 

Why? Because this is really an event for composers and those that benefit from composing pots. 

 

Will the FS community reach out to help the composers in game? Hard to say. 

 

Personally, I doubt we'll make the Ruby AND THAT'S JUST FINE. I will encourage my Guildies to do some hits.

 

They will most likely respond, but I won't go all mad "angst" when/if we don't make Ruby or even gold or crystal.

 

Quite to the contrary, I'll be intrigued... in a good way.

Nothing against the event Cows have a long history of running an event like this the week before a seasonal or new event.

Definitely! Seeing how we just had one. That was a valiant effort. Was expecting crystal to be a close call but we did good!
