I wont comment on the xp side, as i like that there are at least 2 more skills that need effort rather than good money stack to level it.

 

 

But Fishing has "bait" which is totally useless right now ... i would appreciate if the bait would a) make fishing faster - for example just half of the catching time and auto-start catching if you add a bait or the one i prefer - add other fishing methods - for example net fishing where you will gather like 10-15 fishes per catch, but less experience.

 

RIght now i see no use of bait - because +50% (or is it 35% for the best bait) - is really useless on the 1-2 fish catches you have right now ... highest catch i had once was 4 fishes instead of 1 or 2 ... and this only happend like 1 time on ~100 bait i tried and tested (if more xp or anything)

 

Usual i catch ~1 extra fish with bait compared to without - but it needs to add the bait and then click again for starting to fish ... so with the time consumed the overall output is perhaps +1 fish / 5 catches (if not less)

 

On net fishing you could for example catch fishes fast, for dailies / cooking with the penalty of some experience

The only real usage for it,is when trying to gather masses on target for making foods or sales and not focusing on experience gains. so when lets say lvl 40 fishing with the capped bait,you'll get more fish sooner to do such.

as mention in the post ... no you dont - right now - because adding the fish bait takes time - which results in less fish /h

without bait, I get 1 or 2 fish.

 

with bait I think there is about 50% to get 1 more fish. As such I don't bother with it. I would like bait to make them bite faster. At the current rate, I catch enough fish for cooking/dailies without bait. If bait also increased fishing XP that would be nice also.

Thanks for the suggestions, we're always trying to improve the skills when we can.  When we next update, using bait at your skill level will now give you an XP bonus.

Bait would be usefull iflast longer then 60 sec time is main issue see, Take's 20's or so add bait start fishing good spot with few sec left start on next spot! Even with add, Exp time is to low make using bait worth add effort!

 

60 sec across bord, Lengthen time of bait last 5 min then could see using bait be usfull! at this time bait 60 sec not worth using!

 

Same effect add 10% exp add, Would be usefull, Still 60 sec need's small bump!

 

Even if was 120 sec - 2 min would make it worth using! Last 2 spot's of fishing with bit time add bait!
