Is anyone still working on FSH?

This update broke the battle calculator on FSH.

And for me, this game is that much less playable without it.

Are you being cute?

 

The FSH team and their work are grossly unappreciated here.

FSH is one of very few reason why this game is playable at all to some people, including me.

Without it I would certainly, have quit the game years ago.

And if people as dedicated as the FSH team themselves have stop caring about the game now, why should I even bother?

 

So once again, do anyone know if they're still working on FSH?

I think if you hide the Hunted Cow bar in the Preferences it may fix the issue :)

Just tried it, but unfortunately it does not.

+1 to FSH. Makes the game manageable .. Never understood why HC doesn't incorporate some of the ideas so that one doesn't have to run a script to get what much of the consensus agrees is almost critical to the game... simply have a check box that enables the FSH if you want it... maybe throw some bones at someone to keep it up to date and listen to feedback.

Ever since tang went inactive, the script has gone further and further into disrepair.

 

HCS should just integrate it into back end code. Will be less load/lag for players and more of the script, in it's current state, will become unusable when HCS changes things in the future.

 

Would also mean players don't need to update the script manually themselves if they have the skills, to retain functionality.

I'd certainly second that. It will be slightly more expensive on the servers to do so, but it'll be more efficient in terms of time savings, which I think is a reasonable trade-off.

As Zorg has mentioned before, they will be trying to incorporate FSH features in the FS base so that no outside coding need be used. Which may take awhile with them working on Eldevin and FS and with Composing coming soon.

Ever since my baby boy was born 4 months ago I have had no free time to work on it.  Sorry guys.

 

However I have been toying around with the idea of getting a kickstarter going to buy my time and pay a salary to help HCS work with me to integrate the code with FS.

 

Just ideas rattling around in the sleep deprived noggin of mine.
