I look forward to going back and doing the quests I have heard so much about, but it is counter productive during an exp event.
Thanks for any help on this subject.

Ok guys, I am a leveler, and I understand Karthak is a great quest area, but I am going to get to it during the double exp event. Is there a way around doing the quests so that I may go straight through? Or should I just raise the price of my buffs and buff all the lucky ones during the event?

If I remember correctly, you can go through without doing the quests, but I think it will involve some sub-levelling ... Check the quests and requirements ?

Once you get to 951, if you have not done all the required quests you will need to portal back to krul and then portal back to karthak master realm; next:
Merchant Quarter -> City Park -> North Gate -> Here you can level from 951 to 967 ->
Seastone keep for 967 -> Seastone Court for 968 -> Seastone Library for 969 ->
Furnace room for 970 -> Volmar Wastes for 971 or Might need to sublevel to 972 and then portal to Mount Volmar (not sure about that)

Basically, you should be able to access the right realms to kill creatures on-level until you hit 971. Then you can portal past Karthak. I wouldn't bother with the quests if I were you; the XP event only last so long, and the quests are quite time-consuming.

If I recall correctly, Karthak was designed so you could level through it without Questing but huge swathes of stuff was only accessible by doing the quests.
Indeed. You level to level 971 and then portal out and into the next realm, as the door in lvl 970 to lvl 971 is quest-locked.
And this would be a feasible method for the upcoming event content, Grim. hint hint, wink wink..

I'll ponder over this one.

I'll ponder over this one.
