I used 2 Mercs as a test to attack a relic and it seems to work. This method is being used against us and I'm fairly sure the attacker knows this shouldn't be possible, yet they are continuing to abuse this method .
What's the penalty for bug abusing?

As per our Terms of Use :
Bugs which are a potential exploit to the game should not be posted publicly. They should be brought to the immediate attention of Hunted Cow Studios Ltd via our support centre (https://www.huntedcow.com/support).
You must not knowingly exploit any such bugs or cheats. Doing so puts you in breach of this Agreement and may result in termination of your account.

I believe the community should know what they're dealing with when it's happening to them. The attackers guild members are offline for hours yet the individual is able to do multiple attacks within minutes.
There should be a warning or some kind of notification being posted when there is an exploit happening.

Bugs are posted here in the forums consistently. It used to be they were simply fixed. What happened to 'looking into it?'

The bug was reported in Support, where we prefer it to be reported and we are looking into it.
