I do not support or agree with guild hopping. If you do it, fine. But suffer what little consequence remains.
There is no reason to be against guild hopping, unless the person guild hopping is like level 2k+ and hunts with 40k+ stam then leaves... which would put that guild into a massive hole...

And the small consequence of having to wait 24 hrs remains the same regardless of level. Guild hopping to avoid GvG was the problem that instigated this rule. I still don't see a problem with informing players of that consequence as a side note on the Conflict page. This doesn't need great debate, nor require coding knowledge to implement, only an acknowledgment that players deserve to be informed and a proper explanation of what happens when a player departs a guild during a conflict. There aren't that many conflicts going on that this is a pressing issue.

I agree with you completely. People still act like guild hopping is the worst thing to happen though

I too agree with Lou here - I only ask to be informed when leaving a guild that said guild is in a conflict. It would also be nice to be able to join another guild once the conflict is over without having to wait the full 24hrs but that is an acceptable annoyance if HCS determines to keep it as is.
Also, I don't see the big problem with guild hopping. There are many good reasons to hop guilds. I have friends in multiple guilds and enjoy visiting them. Why should there be a penalty for visiting friends and helping them out for a few days?
