Hi all,

The following beasts have appeared in the Scavenging Caves!

Bahmou (Legendary)
168662d6de34755ecab4db6285c5886c079f.jpg

Bahmou is a creature from the ancient past. Stories tell of how a great warrior defeated the beast and left it for dead. Over the ages a forest grew over his resting place and somehow begun to change and regenerate the monster. Now Bahmou has awoken from his death, a creature more plant than animal. It is said he guards the forests of the world like dog guards its master.

Illuyanka the Poisonous (Legendary)
1591c8ed1e2bd8e6f1ad1572953c833ca0b2.jpg

The Treon Venom Swamp was once a lush forest but a foul evil grew within one of its many fertile glades. This evil matured into the serpentine Wyrm now known as Illuyanka the Poisonous. The effect Illuyanka had on the forest was epic, as the poisonous fumes the Wyrm exhaled quickly rotted the forest into a deadly quagmire and Illuyankas hunger for the people who lived in the dying Glade grew. Now Illuyankas food source is gone, the beast is moving onto pastures new looking for victims, rotting the land as it goes...

Red Annis (Legendary)
1690bdd3a9e65dcb69eda333b89a377e5580.jpg

The Annis were a sisterhood of dangerous outlawed Elves that practice all kinds of black magic and evil experiments. Red Annis found her pleasures in the sisterhood through the skinning of her victims, generally making them into one of her many dresses. To help aid her in this debased act she replaced her own hands with magically built claws that allow her to cut her victims and stitch their skins with ease.

Vorik Hydra (Legendary)
15600551be558082f8bf8e57f5647550c019.jpg

The Vorik Hydra is one of the greatest of its kind and the devourer of many heroes that were sent to kill it. Now few dare enter its dwellings deep in the Vorik swamps as none return from the quest to kill this immensely evil monster. The consequence is that the Hydra has grown hungry for the meat of man and has been forced from the confines of its stinking realm though hunger and set out on its own quest to devour all humans it finds...

Barathor the Seer of Fire (Legendary)
2788ce6236c3846d08979aa54ecc4dbb1088.jpg

Barathor, the Seer of Fire, is an ancient, otherworldly demonic being. His centuries of flame gazing have left him entirely blind but he still manages to see thanks to his Helm of Visions. Some say whatever he has seen over the ages has driven him quite mad, all that is known for sure is he is now using his mastery over fire as a weapon, incinerating all around him. He needs to be stopped!

Deaths Hood the Defiant (Legendary)
42679f0ed52daf86e352e8c48045f63275fb.jpg

Deaths Hood the Defiant was a notorious Highwayman of prodigious skills. He was a bane to all cruel Highborn Nobles or unscrupulous Merchants and Traders. He always wore a black hood with a stylised skull face beneath it. Eventually, his luck ran out and he was caught in an ambush and murdered most foully.

This did not stop him however. His vengeful spirit has returned in defiance of his murderers and he preys on all traffic on the Highways. He has made only one change to his recognisable appearance. The skull face beneath his hood is no longer a mask!

Dunno why I bother with the caves - I tell myself this every time, and yet, I still waste gold in there - 20M down the pan and very little to show for it ..

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

It's because they put the Brotherhood Crusader dropping the Flask of Death. So 20k gold for a small chance to find that creature and then small chance of getting a drop... and then a 1 in 4 chance of it being a Flask of Death. Why bother letting a creature with a load of other possible drops, drop the Flask of Death? I get that HCS want a gold sink but jeez, this has just been annoying

Is the drop rate the same as when the Find Item pots were deemed "overpowered"?  I'm guessing it is so perhaps the drop rate needs to be increased some to offset the huge drop of Find Item percentages.

the drop rate is low because it is attached to a creature that has 4 other drops, each 1.5%, you can imagine scavenging for 20k and only finding this creature a few times out of ten becuase all the 5k,10k ones appear as well, then getting a drop from the other 4 available rather than the flask - gonna take a lot of tries.

if it was attached to a new creature with it being the only drop, the rate would jump to 7.5% - a new creature of course won't be found easily since all the cheap ones will still appear but when found it would give a better chance of a flask drop.

FWIW,

20k in mystic caves finds 8 creatures

20k in ancient caves finds 6 creatures

Flask of Death is 20k in mystic caves from a creature with 4 other drops

Watch Your Back Brew is 20k in Ancient Caves from a creature with 4 other drops

FoD haven't been selling for less than 8FSP, WyBB going for 2FSP,  supply demand at work or is mystic cave really that bad lol

Another thing to consider is Mystic Cave drops are mostly junk(used to invent potions), the good potions(UB,EW) are in the Ancient Cave, so for a scavenger it's makes sense to sell UB,EW,WyBB cheaper but they can't sell FoD too cheap since that's the only profitable drop in the Mystic Cave,

I remember FoD being in the ancient cave years ago which made it cheaper to buy, since then it's always appeared in the Mystic Cave which is more crowded and less profitable.

Hi there everyone.

The Legendary Creatures have been driven from the Caves! The supply of potions has disappeared too! When shall they return?

We hope you enjoyed the Cave Event.
