No it wouldnt lift any problem with people looking for different levels, because you can only go in with ur same group again, or create a new group.
Going in every 10th level would go in the direction that people make it for example to lvl 50 with a group and then the people get on with someone else and probably cant go on at all.
In games like this usually people form standard groups for activities like this. Going with random people is just annoying especially when you start with a random group at lvl 50 that didnt play up to this together, wrong / other positionings ...
this is mostly a Guild-Function as i see it, because it needs very good teamwork and a group that knows each other how much threat they can generate, which skills they can use in which circulation.
I dont see ToC as something everyone with everyone can do
It would create such a diversity between players, LFM Level 5 ToC, Level 6 ToC, Level 7 ToC - It would be a complete mess.
You would limit everyone to their own level which pretty making groups too complicated and specific.
You have to realise that this number could be any number between 1-55, you really expect people to find 5 people with the EXACT group wave?
I'm not sure what you meant with the whole if someone made it to the 50 group and he probably can't go on at all? If he does reach to level 50 why couldn't he continue with others that are level 50?
You still have the limitation of joining each other; It's just on every 10th level.
Example being; People from level 10 can only join level 10 groups and nothing else.
You're not forced to run with random people in these activities, you have a choice to but It's not forced upon you, you can still run with your guild/friends as you wish, but this will make making groups for other people easier.
I wouldn't really wanna be looking for a group at specificly wave 7 for an entire day to get started, it would discourge people to finish their way to level 10.
I don't see why they should limit ToC to a guild function only, It should be hard yes but the earlier waves should be able done with public groups, i mean why not? If you wanna push for progression you could essentially join something that is more organized. It could be a good entry level for new players for trying out ToC.
Point is that if you do die in whatever wave you'll be reset again to level 0 and you have to start over again.
Also bare in mind that chugging potions Isn't really a fun mechanic at all, by being able to save every wave would only welcome this idea more, it would also make it too difficult to find people for ToC.
Imagine if it was a guild functionality, What if your 5th member couldn't show up that night? You can't really replace him now can you? You'd have to look for someone for wave 53 as an example, good luck with that.
