Hey,

 

So I don't know how it happens, but after a random time while in-game my mouse sensitivity changes into something higher.

 

I have to alt tab, go to control panel then mouse and see the pointer speed has been increased, I have to set it back to my normal speed, but then again after a random duration my mouse sensitivity just increases.

 

Thought this was a virus, but the duration of this random changed always happens within 5 mins, and it only happens when I play eldevin (I play full screen, steam version). 

 

I mostly play dota 2 and I don't have this problem, only when I play eldvin.

 

Is this known ?

Is it changing the windows pointer speed? Can you also tell me if it is the windows pointer speed if you normally set it lower or higher than the default.

 

It sounds really odd, but we are aware of some users reporting it and we will look into it.

Mines is normally set at the 2nd mark, it changes automatically to the 6th mark,

 

My razor mamba has its own settings, that's why i don't need the windows pointer speed to be that high,

 

It's only the windows mouse setting, my razor mamba setting stay the same.

I've experienced similar issues when using Newt some time ago. Try switching to Java to see if that helps?

Apparently a Java issue, not Eldevin.  Here's the same (or very similar) issue with Minecraft:

Could this have anything to do with it?  The report here says it resets mouse speed, not increase it.  But it's something.

Thanks for the replies, well now it is only happening one or twice a day, and i play like 3 - 4 hours of eldevin.

 

How do I switch to Java, and if it is a Java issue then how do I switch to something else besides Java. I didn't know this game ran on Java.

Hi,

 

I will have a fix for this using the newt opengl renderer in the next update. We were still using the awt robot to do some mouse moving, but I've fully moved this to it's own system which should fix this for you.

 

Just stay using the newt renderer in the future as it is the recommended renderer.

 

If you do want to change it you'll find the option in the graphics options at the bottom.

 

The next update will be next week.

I'll keep using the newt render, as I mostly just skin, tan and the occasional questing, nothing demanding like PVP or multi-group dungeoning and also the fact I don't find resetting my mouse setting
