Hello everyone, hope you are all fine.

I'm creating this topic to introduce myself as the newest team member of Hunted Cow, and also to give you guys an update on the client development.

A little bit about me:
I have been interested in programming since I was 6 years old, starting with the old Logo program for kids.
Throughout my studies, I have developed several small personal game projects and professionally medical and corp training games.
My latest job as a games tester gave me the opportunity to work with a lot of different game concepts and to get a grasp of where the games industry is going towards.

I am now working on the Fallen Sword client, with my first contribution being on the development of the Level Up screen.

levelUpScreenHint.jpg

The idea is the same as the Browser client, however it functions a bit different. Instead of clicking on each stat to add, the player can click to add or remove one point each time or hold the button to add automatically, then pressing the level up button to confirm all points.
The description of each attribute can be displayed by clicking on each.

Please let us know if you have any inputs on this.

Cheers,

I have a question. The minus button? Is that the subtract points before they're actually added to a attribute? Once they're actually allocated they cannot be subtracted, right?

Because if they can be. You will be opening up the door to everybody changing their stats up and down every chance they get for different aspects of the game...

You're right, minus buttons can only go down to the already confirmed attribute points.

The plus and minus buttons can only affect the Level Points Available, which will be deducted or added as the buttons are pressed. Once pressing the Level Up button, the points are saved.

Welcome :)

As i always mention any new innovations introduce to this game would be nice since it will perk up to some if not ALL   excitement/thrill playing this game more and eventually those who are in-active might play again !

I'm sorry to disappoint you all but at the moment there is no finalised release date for the Fallen Sword Client yet! We are making good progress with the app and checking items off the list on a daily basis. We still have a lot to do before the game is ready for launch, but we are nearing the completion of V0.2! It is our aim to have this out to you by the end of the month, but that is only if everything goes according to plan. Fingers crossed! We will keep you updated on the release of V0.2 as the weeks go on. I hope you all enjoy the next stage of the beta when it releases soon! :)

Welcome kamicazer7 and thank you for the update on the progress of the FS app! I hope everything goes smoothly for you this month! Just out of curiosity, I am wondering why you and JustConix are not apart of the Hunted Cow Studios guild when all the other admins are members. Is it because you don't want to be in a guild with BigGrim? That would be my reasoning :P

Good observation :)

I've been mostly playing on the dev server to test the developed content so I haven't had much time for anything else.

I'm sure I will eventually be accepted in the guild  B)

Also, thank you everyone for the warm welcome  , it really motivates me to work even harder.
