So to get the most out of your mage, you're going to want a support miner to enchant you. Every time you are casting spells, you must have the doubler enchantment active to get the most casting xp possible. You also want time shift for more ap everyday and you want mage enchant for more hp and ac and drop boost for drop hunting.
To fuel this miner/enchanter requires a team of other miners doing the dirty work of getting the orbs for the enchantments. My support team has 7 miners working for me but you can get by with less or go hard with more. This is way more do-able now that all of you characters are under one account and don't have to pay for separate characters.
You need an ore miner. This guy does the copper, crystal, and zircon mining. You get your iron ore from the rare trader in Oceanianas. Buying 100 iron ore at a time cost 1 ap. Thats a great deal for your ap compared to mining it. You need a smelter for the ore. You need an orber for the bars. This one doesn't have to be a miner class because there is no advanced skill bonus for orbing. Finally you need an enchanter. This guy is like jhari. splat, or bearcub. Most of your ap should be spent leveling up the enchantments. Often my enchanter’s ap builds up faster than I can spent it enchanting me so I use him to catch up on orbing or whatever.
All this is for support for your mage. It doesn’t take long to get the basic enchantments in order. You will spend tons of time leveling up your drop boost and mage enchant though. So I hope this helped any mages out there who want to get the most out of their character.
