Right, after waiting A whole $%@#)>£ year, I decided to that the reins of VoS myself.

To start off I will need everyone who wants to play to make a post saying so and once I have a big enough list of players I'll start sending out the E-mails with the roles.

Personally I'm not to sure on how well I'll do but as long as small, furry animals don't start randomly combusting besause of this forum, that will be a good enough for me. :)

Here is the current list:

Cynyth
METALHEAD666
toMTom

Also for anyone who is new or those who have forgotten here are the roles/jobs:

Angel - each night, the angel can protect one other person in the game from death by vampires. At the start of each night, he sends me a PM with the name of the person he is currently protecting. He cannot protect himself, and he cannot protect the same person two nights in a row. If that person is chosen by the vampires as their target for the night, they are unable to approach him, and will not be able to kill anyone that night. The vampires will know their chosen target was protected, and the angel will know that the vampires attempted to kill the target he was protecting - but the target himself will know nothing, other than that he is still alive in the morning of course. If the vampires attempt to convert the protected target, the conversion attempt will fail and the vampires will lose use of the conversion ability. Once again, the target will not be aware of anything, and if this case the angel will also not be aware that a conversion attempt was made.

Seer - each night, the seer can sense one other player, by sending me a PM with the name of the person he wants to protect. I will send him a PM back telling him what the true role of the person he sensed was. Note that the seer's ability come before the vampires - the seer could end up sensing someone who dies that same night, or he himself could end up dead, unable to pass along what he has learned. Also, if the seer senses someone that gets converted that same night, the seer will see them before the conversion takes place, and will only see their original role. The seer can sense the same person more than once, if he begins to suspect that someone he sensed earlier in the game has since been converted. If the person sensed is one of the lovers, he does not see that part, only the person's original DM-assigned role.

Assassin - when the assassin dies, for any reason, he gets to name another player that he will kill as his dying action, taking that second person to the grave with him.

Cupid and the Lovers - right at the very start of the game, cupid has to pick two players to become the lovers. He does this by sending me a PM with the names of the people he picks. He is allowed to pick himself as one of the lovers if he so chooses. The lovers, from then on, are tied together, such that if one of them dies, the other dies (of grief) as well. They have no reason to keep any secrets from each other, in the event that one of the lovers is a vampire and the other is not, then the human one of the pair becomes a de-facto member of that vampires team, the vampires do not need to kill him off in order to win, and he wins or loses with the vampires, not the humans.

Witch Doctor - the witch doctor starts the game with two potions: one healing potion, and one poison potion. Each night, after the vampires have selected their target, the witch doctor will receive a preminition of who is going to die (via PM from me). The witch doctor can then choose if he is going to use his healing potion in order to save that person, but he only has one healing potion, so can only do this once per game. If he himself is attacked and he hasn't used the potion yet, he can save himself if he wishes. He also has one poison potion, which he can use on another player during any nighttime phase. That player will then die.

Guardian - a daytime protector, each morning the guardian PMs me the name of someone he wants to protect for that day by locking them up inside their own home! That person cannot be voted for in that days lynching, and cannot be targetted by any other daytime powers (such as if the assassin were to die during the day). The person who is locked up is still allowed to vote in that days lynching (by shouting a name from his window) but cannot otherwise participate in the discussion. For the duration of that day, he cannot communicate with other players in any fashion, public or private. Similar to the angel, the guardian cannot protect himself, and cannot protect the same person two days in a row.

Inquisitor - the inquisitor has the power to force another player to publically reveal his true role. Unlike the seer, however, he does this "in person" by various interrogation techniques. He can only use this power once per game, and it is used during the daytime, by sending a PM to me with the name of the person he is using it on. I will then make a public post about the target's confession as to his true role, so that everyone in the game can see it. The person that was targetted by this power will also become aware of who the inquisitor is, although no one else will (unless he tells). This power can only be used once per game, but if the inquisitor gets converted before he has used it, he gets to keep it!

Mystic - with the addition of a second vampire team (see below) things may get a bit confusing for some people. Each morning, the mystic will awaken with a vision of how many vampires there are on each team. The first morning, this may be something like "3 on team A, 3 of team B", but later in the game that number can go down (as they die) or even back up (as they gain converts). The mystic will thus always know exactly how many vampires remain, and how many belong to each team.

Jack - short for Jack-of-all-trades, this character has a mixed back of abilities. Each night, he can choose one of the following abilities to use: Protect someone (as the angel), Sense someone (as the seer), Lock someone up come morning (as the guardian), Poison someone (as the witch doctor), or receive a vision about how many vampires remain (as the mystic). He can only use each of these powers once, and can only use one per night, although he is allowed to skip a night and not use any power if he wishes.

The Vampires and the Masters - this time around, the vampires are split into two rival teams, Clan Dracul and Clan Ruthven, who are fighting each other for control of the village. Vampires on each team only know who their own teammates are, not who is on the rival team. In order for a vampire team to win, they must eliminate all the rival vampires as well as the innocent villagers. Having two teams like this means a few points need to be clarified, however.
When each team of vampires picks their target for the night, it is entirely possible their target is a member of the opposite team - this is allowed, and it means that a vampire will die in the night in addition to a villager (instead of two villagers, which will be the case otherwise).
If both teams pick the same target, then whichever team it was that PMd me first gets credit for the kill, the other team cannot pick another target that night, however.
If one of the lovers is a vamp and the other is a human, then things are as they normally would be, with the human becoming a member of his vampire lover's team - however, if the lovers are each vampires from a different team, then they each become a traitor to their other vampires. In order for such a team of vampire lovers to win, they must eliminate all the other vampires (in addition to the villagers, of course) so that they are the only two players remaining in the game.
If one master vampire attempts to convert a member of the other team, the conversion will work - that player was already a vampire, but he will switch teams, without his original team knowing either! He will become like a double-agent, selling out his original team for the new one. The rival master vampire cannot be converted, however. Attempting to do so will fail, but will not result in the loss of the conversion ability (he will have to wait until a later night to try using it on a different target). If this happens, each master vampire will become aware of who the other is as well.
Also, because of the possibility of traitors on his own team, either by falling in love with someone from the opposite team or being converted, each night the master vampires have the option of testing the loyalty of their fellow teammates. Each master can only test one of his vampires per night, can only test each one once per game, and it cannot be done on the same night as he uses his conversion ability. When he tests someone, he does so by sending me a PM, and I will let him know if that player remains loyal to him or not.

Also note that if you miss out on voting for anything from choosing a mayor to lynching I will mark your name in bold and if it happens a second time I wil assume that you have stopped playing.

Then I get to have fun with some "divine judgement". Like striking you character out of the game with lighting blots or make them random combust, ect.

P.S. When dead you are allow to roleplay as a ghost, rattle some chians or do the "Whooooooo" thing BUT you can't tell anyone anthing you know or give any hints.
