Welcome ladies and gents to the 7th Grand Graphics Tournament's ROUND 5!

 

Our wonderful artists are here to pit their skills against one another. Some also hope to earn fs fame and fortune!

 

The theme for this round is.... FREESTYLE!!

 

What is  'Freestyle'?

Freestyle is where the artist has free reign to create any type of graphics he/she chooses (so long as it's not animated).

Freestyle is a representation of an artist's creativity, imagination, and skills.

 

 

Your job as the artist is to create a piece of art that best represents your skills or what you like and may include any type of text you choose so long as it isn't your name.

 

 

Please feel free to PM me if you have questions or need to bounce an idea.

 

 

Your piece can be in signature OR avatar format, no larger than 250h x 500w (standard FS signature sizes) and no smaller than 200h x 200w (standard FS game avatar size).

Please keep it FS appropriate.

Note: Even if eliminated, if you have the higher score, it's a good idea to have a piece made incase one of those moving forward needs to leave the tournament for RL/personal reasons.

PHOTOMANIPULATION for final round! I wish I wish I wish! OMG

Not quite sure what you mean by 'photomanipulation' since pretty much all graphics in the GGT have been manipulated into something different from the original.

 

The final round will be the toughest.

 

This round is just a breather.

Often in the GFX world photomanipulation means a realistic alteration. Often done with real models, real stocks, real backgrounds, and a more natural look. The whole idea pretty much is the piece needs to look as natural as possible but be creative too. Here is two Photomanipulation's by one of my friends.

Those are crazy ones charygn one. Your friend is awesome.

I think you explained it really well. What's important is really the realistic look to it (so no C4D, splatter brush, etc.)

 

 

But you probably have something in your head for final round, can't wait to see what'll be!

I would still love to know his and lady pike's techniques for blending. They would win the photomanipulation round hands down.
