This will not apply to 99% of players but I just wanted to post it here as a warning.

 

Our terms of use does say:

"Game accounts are non-transferable under any circumstances."

 

We've recently enacted some anti-fraud measures that make it hard for new players to commit fraudulent transactions with stolen card details. As such these players are now looking to purchase / trade access to older more trusted accounts.

 

If you have more than 1 account you're in violation of our Terms of Use anyway, but if you start trading access to your accounts then ALL of your accounts will be suspended when we start tracing IPs from these fraudulent transactions.

 

I'd also advise all players not to accept Eldevin Points from low level players as gifts or in trade. Players committing fraud are also trying to trade to older players to make their accounts seem more legitimate and again your account may be caught in the cross fire as these accounts get suspended.

Not at all, fraud means using stolen credit cards to make online purchases. We don't store any of your payment details in our site.

does this include trading account between friend? or just when there's fraudulent transactions? becayse i know a few people who logged in with his/her so called "friend" account constantly

Seems pretty straight-forward. I doubt that it's punishable to let your friend see and play the game on your character for example if he is over at your house. But giving him access to it from his own house is probably against the terms of use.

They're tracing ips. So if they play from your computer shouldn't have a problem.

 

You might have problems if your account is accessed from 2 or 3 locations in a short time frame though.

while I haven't traded ep in game since I prefer to buy my own if I want ep then buy from other players with gold from within the game I just want some clarification.

EP is normally tradeable (minus the account bound kind) so I assume trading ep between players as players sell ep for gold ( we see players selling ep in wc for gold all the time or selling some item for ep)  is not against tos soo can you explain what is the fraud part ?

People have take Stollen money buying in game Eldevin pont's Selling EP gained from stollen cc, Trading for Gold or Other items, simply Warring people in Eldevin try to avoid buying and selling EP from low lvl people, Limited chance of you be considered under invsagation.

If I had to guess i'd say Phishing,Emails and Keyloggers though.

It's a TV programme that popped into my head when I think about getting details, so I thought i'd share lol.

Good to know I should never give out my info I thought these were happening from hacked Steam accounts or something to get their card info.

Usually don't click on links, don't accept files from unknown sources and be careful with phishing links. Keep your anti virus uptodate and scan regularly.

I also suggest malware bytes as a good free scanner for windows users

HCS might clarify more but I'm not sure they need to say how exactly

Window's Defendor Free ware swoftware for those using window's OS, Hightjackthis greate programe. Sevral other freeware very usefull - As well as add's to useing Firefox broswser so forth.

 

In genral thank's for update on potional threath in Eldevin.

Regarding add ons for Firefox id suggest no script and enable everywhere as stops things running which you may not know about and just allow trusted sites if you don't like keep allowing
