Make monthly or weekly events that require subscription.

Double rewards weekend..
This applies to everything Valor,Prestige,cb experience, skilling experience, weekly quests, tokens, relics, drops, vendor sale worth, and raid boss runs...this kind of stuff can shift schedules and be highly beneficial and also an good incentive to be a subscriber.non subs gets 50% boost= to a booster pot effectiveness of the entire weekend.

player battleground
skill rework
wb implementation
rb-fix
pvp rework
TA rework
toc rework
arena rework

basic rework to the general action bars and customization(slide and scale,+1-2 bars, pot bar slide and scale +1 bar or 2 with opt lock. a double lock feature so you can have an permanent lock over the bars so you don't accidentally unlock)
gems balancing
gem implementation (haste,armor,att blend,crit blend,def blend)
dps trans weps...obviously this is a must for the current state.
longer drawn out quests that completely change the current quest dynamics, requiring more time, strategy, and story behind it.
achievement search bar!(also a must) you want to increase the game longevity? don't require people to spend a half hour searching for a specific challenge.
General mass increase to variety of types of armors and weapons!
I want to see more achievement implemented! -we should have armor types of challenges...absorb 2.5m damage while wearing light/heavy/med armor
deal x damage with ess, book, sword etc..
Variety of achievements!

better reward worthy system to make things not only unique but enjoyable to participate in..
raid bosses..make mini raid boss pets so if you kill 100 of them you not only complete a challenge you also get a mini pet of them..
make long term goal achievements based off increasing the longevity and event making of this game..
kill 1k of raid boss amun for amun mastery titles..+customization themes based off the raid boss itself.

will add more later.

for a weekend= 2 runs of 4x once a month..if done in that month.  (in regards to fabled sets) the 45 sets arent really meant to be a long journey to obtain anyways..which is why the weekly quests were also implemented to help in regards to non p2p as well as p2p.  its only a weekend of 2 days, for maybe once a month, and not only increases the incentive to become a p2p adds more cause for buying alts instead of punishing them as it is now.

I have to side with slip too. I believe the harder it is the more rewarding you feel.

you just supported my point X D takes an entire month to get something not worth the time or effort. would be best to just reduce it anyways.

Also! it wont be overall 200% faster,it will only be slightly faster for the weekend :)

You may be suffering burn out Guthix and trying to find things to hold your attention in this game.  But I would agree with a lot of systems need a major rework on this game, but goodluck getting them as this game is in constant catch up due to being released too early. HC probs have a long list themselves.

As for subscription perks, as long as they were balanced, new things are always cool.  But I think HC are proud you don't need to subscribe to have access to all content and is sort of a tagline for them. So I doubt exclusive questlines and events will occur in the near future etc as it would go against the image they try to put out. But who knows what they shall do.

double anything will be a one time investment for a weekend...pay whatever get a team together and bang out the 45 set and job done..then sit around waiting like evryone else. not a solution in my opinion.

I think everyone is focusing a bit too much on the first point O-o

its the entire image being sent out in this thread. As of right now there are still no true incentives to being a subscriber in all honesty..25% overall buff and double relics in fine..but is only worth buying for the first month or two...they need more incentives...as the current incentive is only good for the first month or two maximum. in a month you could effectively get to lvl 45 and get your entire 45 armor set and jewelry set made and get half your skills or even more then half to 45..after 2 months you could already have an useless fabled set and all skills to 45. so what else do you need the subscription for? extra relics gain to trade in for c rems that are worth nothing? or for fusion powder that you can grind even faster at lower lvled areas.

they will have to do something besides just small buffs to exp and gen gains to keep the subscription value above free to play value...because if not they are just going to hope and pray to make enough off ep for vanity sales, which also..again isn't needed as the economy i flooded with them already to the point where you cant even pay people to take them.

something not worth the time or effort.

every point counts and considered worth it. if you find it worthless then simply give up your asv spot to some one that would not only relish the items but also enjoy the dungeon play. when i stated it only takes a month and that the harder it is the more rewarding, i was referring to how it should take longer.

EDIT* sub should not apply to specialty dungeons. meaning asv and agc.

In my opinion, this all boils down to HCS decision on PvP. I just don't get why the dev would shy away from PvP (which is voluntary) and focus on more of a dungeon type based games. Hell even in FS, their most successful game, PvP is a joke.

Even the most basic tournament setup(1v1 ELO/weekly) can alleviate the pressure for contents. Releasing 5 new levels of content shouldn't have people complaining a month after it comes out. PvP has the most potential to be a content multiplier out of any other aspects of this game. It is why the wilderness in RS was so popular and, in my opinion, allowed it to grow as a game. Hell release a new cache of equipment every couple weeks or so in different aspects of the games and watch as people line up to do them to try and compete in PvP.

I've written a lot on this subject when I was actively playing and I still see that PvP is still abysmal. I want HCS to succeed, but Ive been pretty sad wit the direction of this game. How the hell did Mount became a priority Ill never know. Anyways here is what I think HCS should focus on in order of importance.

1. Hardware Rendering

2. PvP, at least a basic tournament

3. Guild/AH

4. Skill Balance/Gem Balance

5. Make every items of type rare or better have some randomized stats.

man..it is worthless,I'll gladly give my spot up have enough on my capped chars for the fabled sets anyways X D but i wont be buying them...why? because based off the current weps of the game...i could save myself a month of wasted time in asv and make more cash grinding out bt/rg in that time to make up for it,AND acquire better hyb rare weps that exceed the fabled gear. So i will be glad to give a spot up to those who chose to waste their time, wont be any loss for me. Also....ASV isn't hard in the least bit,its just an easy dungeon with high packed hp adds and bosses to extend the time...just like the rest of the game.

I agree with Hardware Rendering as #1.  I really think Skill Balancing should come next.  No point in PvP if we don't get more balance among the classes.  Providing an alternate talent allocation and set of ability bars would lead more people to try out PvP as well.

IF HCS would add more levels, but not add content to them, would you (all lvl 45s) be happier then? I've also suggested adding new sets that is ULTRA rare to get and can only be gotten from the hardest dungeon. Maybe 0.01% from the hardest dungeons last boss to get one piece. The sets would have best stats and some nice effect (I think the community got lots of these). The sets would be unbound (atleast on pickup) to make people buy and sell them for a high price and make a alternative way to get those sets.

IGN: Player. I usually think in longevity point of view.
