Lately more then ever,  1-2 months maybe 3 I noticed way to many dc's and assorted things that keeps happening.  Game closes suddenly, I"m getting logged out of my account, dc's from game and these are the things that aren't from my isp going poof.  I suspect even sometimes this game may randomly make my net poof while I"m in it.

 

 

Please HC, check the servers, reboot, have some 

maintenance on a regular basis ( I guess you do but it's getting to be more then just the occassional on a server that I may expect some lag at times due to where I am and where that server is located.).

 

I mean I"m in the U.S and I rarely if ever had issues on that serve.  In fact I could basically go on any server and be pretty good but lately US is as bad as OC can be at times and well just all the servers seem to have these wonky issues now no matter our location to them.

 

 

please look into this.  and I have no idea why I keep getting logged out, maybe it's some random dc but either way worst is when your in a convo and poof you go or dungeons, now that just is a big nooooo :/ sigh

I used to get annoyed when they did maintenance, frequently. Now I miss it! Eldevin sure is on the back burner these days. I ponder if all their time goes into their other games or if they be creating a new game. I've played those other games. They are all inferior to Eldevin.

Probably money running out and they swapped to worse servers.

I was considering buying some ep or a sub but when I keep getting logged out from game and all that it makes me apprehensive to buy it.  What would be the point if I can't play when I'm on consistently. 

 

I have to agree that this game stands down (yes I can't really speak of their other games having not played but I did look at them) is the best of their games currently and if they were creating a new one or will be one day I hope it's in the same kind of direction as their idea about eldevin was. 

 

I hope they aren't giving up on this game and I understand it costs money and I like to support games I enjoy so I have and do purchase items with real money in games but given that I don't have a money tree growing in my Living room ( I"d say back yard but I don't have a back yard)  I  would like to see if these problems will improve before I do that.

 

I know it wasn't perfect before and I"m used to some bug and some issues occasionally but since I got back it's obvious it's gotten worse.

Up until seeing this post, I was sure all the disconnects were on my side, but that doesn't seem the case anymore. I've lost count how many times I've been d/c while talking to someone or in battle, this resulting in people upset with me, and it really is troublesome. Thank you for making this post.

nah, it's happened to a lot of players, randomly.  

 

I don't know who you run with but if they are actually getting upset with you over something out of your control then you should find others to run with.  This is a game people, stop taking the mishaps that may happen when in dungeon as something so serious that you get angry at your team mate over it.   We die sometimes, people may dc for various reasons, it's not real life so chill out. 

 

Also think of it this way. while it may delay some time spent there or perhaps cost some repairs, you can make gold quite easily in this game , or use 50ep for repair kits ( forgot how much it is) and I found if  I repair on a regular basis rather then let my equipments lose a lot of dur. then it costs me less over time. 

 

But in a lot of mmo's when you die you lose massive amounts of xp that could have taken you weeks or month's with a lot of effort to gain so relax, have fun and even laugh a lil at the mishaps that may happen and don't go out of your way to make another player feel badly about things that are out of their control.

I'm getting more and more convinced that HCS are abandoning this game as they did with Sigmastorm2, but at least with SS2 they told us there would be no more updates/content, this may account for the rise in DC's

i agree. they used to be really active on the forums and we'd even see them visit and play with us in game.. but over the last year this has all but stopped..

Anyone think some staff were cut last year from hcs and they now have brain drain with very few able to work and function on eldevin without some serious training ??

 

You know what I mean, not familiar with the coding, operations etc and the people who do know about it are spread thin on other games and loaned out.

definately think a reboot is in order , last 3 days , very laggy on OC and random dcs. Takes awhile once disconnected to relog into server

Like really, the lag is getting hard to bear seriously, but the player volume is decreasing not the other way around so what is the cause?!

Is this a problem with a lot of players ? Just wondering because I haven't had any random dcs or logouts in ages.

Haven't had that either ..... My ping for OC Is somewhere between 300-400 but still rather good to play a few lags but nothing bad, no DC's ...

On EU my ping is somewhat at 30-50 and everything works just fine

Maybe try a different client (I noticed the browser version is much slower and more laggy then the downloadable client).

i,like many other old players,visit often this forum and its a pitty and very sad,to see all cows have abandoned the forums and not reply to their user

it was a wonderfull game,so its a pitty to slowly destroy all the fun

i still see some of my old friends writing here,but i did not had such patience and left last year

i had planned to come back as soon we get the LOOOONNG Time promissed upgrade,but it looks like it never will happen,or if,then to late to keep the player here

because it was and is the best community,i had the honor to play with in more then 30 years Onlinegaming
