Hi HCS,

 

Quest: Apprentice Prospecting Trainer

 

Asks for 20 Copper Ore, states complete, gives the quest reward. Then when you talk to him again, it repeats the same quest/reward over and over.

 

I had enough Copper in my inventory to complete it three times, this a bug?

That quest is meant to be repeatable

These quests are intended to help you level up your skills faster, they should reward you with a small bonus to your profession experience points in addition to regular experience points.

Hey Mojawk! did not know you was a cow, yeah that was fun, thanks for the help... glad you got your shield in the end 

 

I sold the weapon I got, I prefer the shield and sword combo. Game looks really good, I stopped leveling to try some other stuff now, I wanna craft myself the basic copper armor set, then im gonna try some weapons.

the repeating quests seem a bit overbearing...I get that they give you points and exp etc...but it starts to get boring...bring me ten copper bars...over and over and over....especially when you mine forever to get pure copper to make an item...to just give it away...and do it over....and then again...hardly seems worth the exp...or the time...

ok, and then make me a copper sword...so you mine the copper and coal...buy the flux...go back and make a sword for a measly 9 xp?..totally not worth it...and then do it over and over and over?..it gets really redundant...

The idea for these quests isn't so much that you make items specifically for them. It's more if you've been doing a lot of crafting, you can choose to either sell the results or turn them in for a little extra experience.
