Runescape sells an item in its shop to convert a piece of worn gear to Vanity. I hate the look of 45 ranger gear and want my old look back. Either let us use lower level gear as vanity or sell and item so we can convert it to vanity. 

 

 

I think you missed the sell part of this idea; this is a money maker. Is this company not in business to make money? Go grab your finance guy and say "Hey can we make money on this idea?" Or Tell them "Hey I think we can make money on this idea" make money get a big bonus and a pat on the back.

It is already possible.

Check Eldevin market. U can buy low lvl gear looking vanity there.

 

Just go to very bottom.

yeah but it is VERY limited. this has been suggested many times, another +1 from me here

Well not really... it seems very mismatched... like not all sets or items are even available... that'd one might want. Some I just don't get why they are there (other then possibly relation to it's area like Sriosan priest robe).

They did add the tutorial armour on request though, so I can imagine in the future they will expand on more vanity gear I hope. I have a feeling this was just something they wanted to try out during beta but didn't expand on it yet to include more things.

If there's any specific armor you'd like as vanity, let us know and we'll look at adding it. For the kind of system you want (an item to change gear you have into vanity) we'd need to set up a vanity version of every piece of armor in the game, of which there's quite a few.

Sorry if this is a bit out of topic. I wonder why there is no vanity or armor that looked like the characters in Talent tree.
