Incentive to kill people in TA

ATM , There is no incentive just to kill people or go for killing spree . 

 

Only incentive is u can get their resources or the tokens if they had it .

 

There should be valor reward for each kill which should be increased when on a spree till immortal .

 

Plus extra reward for killing players who are in a spree .

maybe go help new people do dungeons and stuff, or give them advice on stuff.  Maybe come chase me round Trappers. lol

I support the topic, but as ice said, it could easily be abused. Maybe only allow 3-5 kills on a certain player before you are no longer rewarded for killing that player, and have to find someone else.

You get less and less valor until it becomes 0 for spree killing the same target

You get more valor for killing a person with high streaks

 

 

But then again, 2 people can alternate killing each other for streaks meh

I agree, however i believe they should make there own token for PVP, Eldevin slayer token? Hunted Token? anyways and they should make a shop that either has armor and weapons that you can only get with those tokens or, enchants your armor and weapons. giving them certain boosted stats, this way the game doesn't have to make new armor for every level.

Yup. If there are a penalty for killing same every time, the abusers will be three...

 

I agree, however i believe they should make there own token for PVP, Eldevin slayer token? Hunted Token? anyways and they should make a shop that either has armor and weapons that you can only get with those tokens or, enchants your armor and weapons. giving them certain boosted stats, this way the game doesn't have to make new armor for every level.

As, you get a buff in PvP areas, armors and weapons are hard to release, so I suggest gems, starting from jagged.

Not a fan of PVP and really not a fan of this either. At least have it where you are limited to being killed once per spawn. Let the pvp'rs have their satisfaction but let non pvp'rs  get theirs' as well by killing plasma lord. This way it might cost you, but at least there is a possible reward. Currently, I have never been there and no desire to go there. As most non pvp'rs go, I think they will accept going in and getting stabbed in the back or jumped by a group once.

reward's for killing people are farly high as is!

Reward for gather onother had are high have very high risk factor over player killer!

 

Only one losing any thing at all on TA is gather!

Player kill easy loot, No risk of losing any thing at all a side from loot stole from gather start with.

 

Understand many who have 5K reasio's very's of Stollen materail!

 

All did was go around killing people never, gathering any of stuff them self!

 

At same time understand gatehr ahs no chance fight back.

I believe they should implement the pvp death system (which is very popular in a handful of games) and would suit this game, where you drop items you own on death.

 

As said before they would need to look at unbinding items to give a broader range of equipment loot.

 

Won't happen though, HCS only listen to the current community rather than seeing the advantages of an update for a potential community.

i would like it if you deposited the tokens 1 at a time. each one took 1 second to deposite and you could stop any time.

 

Example

lets say

i was fighting plasma lord. i accumlated 15 tokens during that time i go to the spot to turn them i initiate turning i watch the action bar go down 4 times (4 seconds have past i have deposited 4 tokens) i see someone coming so i stop depositing tokens to prepare to fight just incase i'm attacked. i now have the 11 tokens i didn't have time to deposite.

 

right now it's silly just run (hussey will tell you how easy that is) drop them all off instantly and don't lose anything.


no longer playing so feel free to ignore more (if i even post) just do still follow forums so MAY comment from time to time.

Like that as add's soem risk to player killer as no risk to player kill, Aside from what stole first place or lose of tooken's

  • Gather Higher gathering, highest Risk of lose!
  • Player killer, Lose of tooken's, Lose of stollen good's Very low risk.

Blance from Gather risk to player killer's risk as of right now player kill has low risk factor!

 

change of tooken's done over time add's some more player killer risk as well add to Gather's risk factor!

 

Over all add's more risk that is need to player killer!

 

In self, Log of or leve TA lose tooken's - Add more mean to player killer kill people trying deposted there tooken's

Honestly, the main reason we we're reluctant to implement this is that we're pretty sure most high level players would simply PvP naked, eliminating the risk to themselves while lower level players who would have to take gear to compete would be taking all the risk with no chance of reward.

I agree with you :). That plus the fact that if people would lose armor/weapons would be pretty pissed :). In games where you drop items when you die, that items are much easier to get.

 If anything maybe you could lose something from the inventory but not stuff that is equipped.

For this reason new better sets are needed to be added to new farm able solo bosses.

That would work and make armor smithing a good profession to train, but the amount of time it takes people to get dungeon armor is high.I Suggest if they would make a system in where you can trade gold for smuggled gold and the more smuggled gold you have you have a increase in finding flakes and the other rare mats , increase in token gain ,increase in resource gain from kills,smuggled gold gain from kills. I believe this system will work better in Eldevin's current stage.Then you have a true risk and reward system.

IMO the game base design doesn't allow the loose everything on death system. IMO the inventory is too big and the bank too small for that. There's no room in the bank to store extra gears. 

A suggestion would be adding deaths door debuff to people who have got killed. 

A suggestion that might work, would be a debuff named 'Murder'. You get the debuff if you attack a player. The debuff marks you as murder to everyone that see you. If you got the debuff, you loose a piece of your gear if you get killed. If you attack someone who have attacked you, you don't get the debuff. Using AoE abilities can be perilous...
