Does anyone know what you need to do in order to get access to the banks in Illaneska and Mythos?
I recall using them during early beta, but now the bankers don't talk to me (too busy). I had wondered whether it related to ending the various repairing relations quests, but that doesn't seem to have done it.

I don't think you need to do anything special. Have you tried right clicking on the bank teller and selecting the Vault or Stash?

I do not think they give me the option to open the vault. I think you may have complete a questline or something. It could be reputation not sure.

I don't think you need to do anything special. Have you tried right clicking on the bank teller and selecting the Vault or Stash?
They merely respond that they are too busy, and give you no options to follow up
both of those bank been close from beta have never been open from time played during beta till now. So far no option open them to use so far from what seen.
I'm pretty sure that I used the mythos bank once during phase 2 beta (got access to my stash, but before multis and the vault were available) - but it could be my failing memory. Certainly I couldn't (or couldn't work out how to) use them in the final stages of beta.

I went to the one in mythos, and I got the impression that there is a questline involved with it and that once I completed the quest it should act "normally" like the one in eldevin and nidaros do.

If I recall correctly , the mythos bank is only involved in a questline and has never been available to access stash or vault.
The bank in Illaneska - I believe we could access the stash and possibly the vault in Beta but it has never worked since going live. It would be nice if we could get the Illaneska bank accessible.

I can confirm for the moment that the banks in Mythos, Illaneska, Roshaven and Nidaros are closed to banking clients although some of the tellers are involved in quests. There's no secret method to being able to use the banking services.

Banking is possible at Nidaros and at Roshaven unless its been changed in the last day or two. I use both of these banks when in those areas. However, Mythos and Illaneska are still unusable.

Ah, it's not changed. I stand corrected.
I was looking at the code on the NPCs and forgot about the menu options.

Thank you Anakiro. Would you consider unlocking the Illaneska bank after completing Rebuilding Illanon Relations questbook and unlocking the Mythos bank after completing The Fellowship of the Varuna questbook? It would be a great incentive to complete both Army and Arcane questlines.

it would be nice to have those banks available for use. right now they are useless unless you happen to have a quest for them. If you want to bank you are out of luck. it is a pain to have to head to another city to get banking done.

Regardless, we should be able to bank at Mythos and Illaneska especially after doing all this stuff for them. The game seems broken some how by not being able to use these banks. I saved both these towns from eminent destruction and I cannot even use their banks? not believable breaks immersion. Fix it please.

Considering that there are the new level-25 dailies in all the major factions that look like reputation grinds (the ones with the quest rewards of either a reputation token, a bag of money, or a bag of prestige points), It would make sense if one of the rewards for high reputation in Mythos and Illeneska would be access to the faction bank branches, at least.

All I can tell so far is that rep is for an achievement. They should have all banks available because it breaks the towns that don't have banks and will overcrowd the ones that do eventually.

The Illaneska and Mythos banks will be open for business after our next update. There won't be any requirements to use them.

The the moment you can use reputation for achievements and there is some vanity gear that requires a certain reputation to equip.
We are planning to expand the use of reputation. This will happen mostly at end game.
