Again it seems the cows have favored and tried to force pvp upon us all.Some people like pvp and thats fine with me.Go and pvp other pvp players all you wish.Others like me dont like pvp and the opt of pvp ladder is not enough.You should be able to choose how you want to play the game, and for me I would like to opt out of pvp totally.

    If the cows refuse to make this a option then why not lower the pvp protection cost..200000 gold for one day of protection is a joke and one mill for a week of protection is tyranny.

  If you the cows care about all players then what about the levelers and non Pvp players like me?

If you dont keep gold, then you wont be usually attacked. In the old PvP ladder, there is a opt out feature.

In the old pvp I always used 10 stam and tried to master thief the gold I would need

Ive been attacked with having no gold at all.What about low level players how can they afford 200000g for one day of pvp protection?Pvp players have the ladders Pvp arena .What about me and Others that dont wish to pvp what have we got?

It just seems with all the attention HCS has given to Pvp,What about the rest of us Non Pvp players do we get any attention too?

How many players have left the game because of the Pvp issue?

Would it not just be easier to make Pvp a opt in or Opt out  feature.Or  at least lower the Pvp protection cost?

PvP Protection only protects against xp loss anyway. Doesn't protect against gold loss. In Seasons there wasn't any xp loss. It was awesome. I hope they bring back prestige. Mutual prestige hits between players (at 10 stam with no bounties) allowed everyone involved to level faster due to a net xp gain from the prestige buff.

One tip. Don't post in the forums. Some have gotten attacked just for saying anything that may be construed anti pvp. Happened to me personally a few times. One even admitted. He wanted to see my "reaction "

If the game goes back to the way it was before, I will continue to not post bounties.

 

I have the facets of the game I like to play and PvP in it's many forms is not among them. (Ladder, arena & gold hits. For that matter GvG too, as far as I'm concerned, but I'll roll with that. )

 

Not sure why any changes were made in the first place as Seasons did not last more than the test run and one go round.

 

I too would like the cost of protection lowered some so I can get more from what gold I get.

I would just like to see Pvp be optional and not forced  on you! If I like to play and level up and  not get attacked why should I have to pay gold for that,Via pvp protection.Do Pvp players have to pay to pvp?

  If I have to pay gold for Pvp protection why not Make Pvp  players pay gold to attack me?

My memory is a bit hazy, but way back when....  Wasn't xp loss an absolute when the game started?  And didn't the virtual level become standard 2 or 3 years in?  

    I've got the germ of an idea, but I need my memory prodded.  Can anyone remember what the story was?

It used to be that gold was protected and experience was kissed goodbye with each hit.

 

Then enough people said they valued their experience more than their gold so it was swapped.

 

Experience was protected and gold was up for grabs.

 

There are some pieces of gear and some potions that protect gold, I'm not sure how many are available though.

 

That protection is in the enhancement stats of the gear, I think.

There should be an opt out feature on levelling, not all players should be forced to level. I think you should have to pay to level, the experience is enough of a reward, get rid of gold

I know that levelers are not supposed to have an opinion on PvP according to those that PvP, because we don't PvP, or that's what I took from the post anyway.

 

Yes, if I could , I would pull out of every single form of PvP in this game, because there are times when I feel like I am playing with a card shark holding a stacked deck. LOL

My feelings exactly. I hate PvP and want an option to totally stay out and away from it. Close to 75% don't like it either. Let the PvPers have their option to smash each other to their heart's content, but leave me and the others in the upper 75% alone!

Speak for yourself. I have been attacked with less than 1000 gold. You should listen to what the majority has said and focus on that instead of making general statements that you cannot back up.

i remember the old days when pvprs would put in their bio how much xp they have taken -the so-called pvp cake - pvp is not just about taking gold but more about hurting others

If the person is hitting you and you are not carrying anything worthwhile but your XP, chances are the person doesnt like you and/or the person has a reason for hitting you.

 

Ive been often hired to dlvl people, after some hits they wouldnt carry any gold anymore. Or if someone was trash talking upon me, I return the favour by hourly 100 stam smashes. Up until it starts boring me OR when the person manages to get out of my range below or above.

 

So next time you wonder why youve been smashed by someone with 100 stam, it may have some sort of reason.

10 stam are usually friendly pats for prestige.
