Have been trying for two days now to try get on game. Have tried old and new versions of Java.

Have tried through Steam and downloaded versions from site. Playing on mac. Can't even get browser to work now.

Any known fixes for this? Can't UPDATE_LOADER is what keeps coming up. Have sent in tickets but....you know yourself. Have 5 unanswered at this stage starting from ages back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had same through steam, managed ok with client and browser though

I just bought the game on Steam with all the packs - I am getting the same message "Unable to update the loader" - I don't have a good feeling about this... seeing that you guys are not getting any response.

hmmm did you try to uninstalling the client and installing it?, i would suggest updating Java too

from the error you posted there seems to be a connection error. try deleting the client and install it again.

Same here. Trying looking for any java updates and reinstalling and getting the exact same error on both steam and on the game site client

I am having the exact same problem and have also tried from both steam and the website. I did reinstall java as well and tried to re-install the game several times.  Nothing fixes it.

I'm having the same issue. Just downloaded it today and preloaded files, verified cache, etc.

Hey, yeah still a no go. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall the client and java AND new an old versions of java. Have tried everything I can think of. Even tried my mates laptop earlier which runs windows (I run a mac) and got the same message! "Can't update loader" Will see if they get back to my tickets next week... If not I guess it's on to another game

I decided to try this game after a long time away and cannot get it to work on either Steam or with direct download from the website. 2 errors coming up, one is 'Unable to update the loader' and the other is 'Unable to launch the Eldevin application' Had this game on Steam and tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but same errors every time. Have submitted a ticket so I guess I wait and see...

i got the same problem with steam, and on browser its lagging so much my pc is able to play battlefield 3 in low settings but not this game on browser, can anyone give me some tips to fix this

um try and right click on tab when screen kinda freezes thast what i do th nit jumps back into play.. weird loading huh.. lol

I Hope because I tried to log in through steam earlier and I got the same error, only my client is working atm.

LOL This is pretty much the same problem I've been getting for over a month now. No response from the devs so far on the ticket that I filed... Almost a month ago.
