Unable to purchase "supporter"

I am unable to purchase the $14.99 2-month supporter option. When I click Buy Now the screen dims, and I get a gold spinner icon and that's all I get. I waited for 5 minutes the second time I tried it, all I can do is close the game completely. On the game launcher, the buttons for "Account", "Support", and "Forums" don't work at all. I click them and nothing happens. I am extremely interested in spending some money on this game, but I seem to be having problems. Here's some technical information that may be helpful: Using Windows 10, HP x360 laptop, running Eldevin through Steam. I appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you. :)

Not the first time it's happened. I wish I could suggest using the website shop to purchase the two month, but it's still only the one month subscription.

If HCS for some reason doesn't reply today, then I'd submit a support ticket as they're closed on weekends. Usually they're pretty quick on resolving membership issues though.

Thank you for the response from Staff. I've been dragging my heels on the subject; trying to figure out if I wanted to do it yet. So far I've run into the usual toxic gaming community full of immature little kids with anger issues, and with the problem I have with Eldevin just randomly freezing and locking up randomly, I'm just not sure I want to pay real money for this yet. And now I'm being asked to file a "Support Ticket"? How the hell do you do that? Submitting a thread on these forums isn't a satisfactory method of receiving support? That probably upsets me more than anything else. *Shakes head*

 

So thank you for your response, but as you can see, I'm just not sure if spending money on this game is the right thing to do at this time.

I don't play anymore so I wouldn't know the state of the overall community now, sucks if what you're saying is true.

LOL those players must've been really bored... But it's odd that you'll find yourself unable to click stuff cuz others are clicking on it..... As for quest items and "seasonal event items" on the ground which disappear and WILL respawn in a few seconds to a minute, I don't think there's so many players in the game to contend with and for you not to be able to pick stuff up. I played at a time when the game had 300 players average at peak time and this was never a problem, compared to the current population of around 30-50 average LOL. So I don't know about that.

 

And to whoever was spamming about the scammer, I just wanna ask, whose fault was it that he/she was scammed lol It's IMPOSSIBLE to scam anyone or get scammed in this game without the actual victim being guilty of ALLOWING it to happen. BUT that doesn't mean you're off the hook ofc, if you really are a scammer :P

Yeah I've also had this long standing problem of not being able to play level 50 content in the game, I don't know if anyone else has this problem. I'm gonna go file a ticket now. :D

Hi there, sorry for all the frustration you seem to be encountering. However, if you would like to submit a support ticket you can do so at the following link: https://www.huntedcow.com/support

 

We ask our players to submit support tickets so we can deal with issues on a one-to-one basis, especially when dealing with issues that seem related to the player specifically. Some issues can be solved with help from both the community and staff, but since I wasn't sure from your initial post whether you'd actually been charged, a support ticket seemed to be the way to go. If you'd like further help with what seems to be a Steam overlay issue, I would suggest a support ticket so the right people can be made aware of the problem.

 

If you're encountering problems with the community in terms of harassment, certainly let us know about that as well via support. We can look into the chat logs to see exactly what was said and deal with inappropriate behavior. Screenshots are particularly helpful here if you have them, but not required.

Thank you again for the responses from Staff.

 

I was never charged for anything, there is really no issue to resolve.

I always disable my Steam Overlay, so that's not the issue.

I have been debating purchasing different things for the game, but now that I've learned the game is no longer under development, there is no reason to support it.

I've been unable to become a monthly supporter or to buy anything from the store requiring cash. Whenever I try to make a payment I get an error screen saying that the cardinal commerce server address can't be found. On July 18, I filed a ticket about it but still haven't had the ticket answered. On July 21, I sent a follow up message, again with no response to date. It's too bad. I'm loving this game and would happily become a supporter.

 

On a separate note - I also had someone following me around right behind me, spamming me with trade requests and guild invites even after I told them I wasn't interested. The solution was simple - blocking and ignoring them until they went away.
