Been looking through the Graphic Forums here, and I notice that a lot of the Avatar and signature work being done is mainly rendering and image manipulation. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but i'm curious as to the skills of other artist types, things drawn from scratch. I'd like to see who here is the master of the Tablet and Pen! 2.gif

Guess i'd best kick this off then. 11.gif

My most recent piece is a concept inspired by the ever talented Steven to create The Chapter's all new Rank 18 Male Arbitrator coat:

Steven's Design:          A dash of Paint:           And hey presto you've got yourself a new coat design!

arm00.png â†’ TCarmourcoat_zpsd30de32f.png → TCarmourcoat60x110_zpsdc5b72d6.png → Coatneatoutline_zps05d4a146.png → TCrank18CoatFlatcolour_zps75883ae9.gif → TCRank18Coatshaded_zpsa0613b3e.gif → → TCRank18Coatworn_zps275661df.gif

After this of course I could not help but draw a concept sketch, though it seems my hands decided NOPE WE ARE DONE HERE after the shoulder pads. XD There will probably be a few more changes to this.

So, how's about you guys? 10.gif

Lets see some drawings up in dis house!

You using a Wacom?  -  I SOOOOO want one.  drawing is a pencil and paper affair for me.    My forté however is fractal creation and fractal manipulation.    I haven't physically drawn something in a long while, though I had someone ask for a sketch, and another at possibly creating a map of sorts - I'm going to get on that after I finish sorting house about and have had my drawing tools surface.

@AttorraRu: I currently use Photoshop CS6, though I doubt I fully utilise it. On occasion I will downgrade to CS5 during pixel art work, as my magic wand tool has a tendency to freak out and start feathering against my wishes. |:C

I rather like these, the "Image a day" projects are a lot like a window into the soul, showing your day to day emotions. :3

Have another image, created for me as a signature by the sexy ass Minion:

I dont have a lot of my sketches or paintings uploaded to anywhere. But i did quite a few of both in AP Art this year. I love photography, I have a few uploaded on my secondary deviantart account - petesphoto.deviantart.com

Also really into music, i have been working on some electro house for a while, and started playing guitar a decade ago, not sure if you consider that art but the way that i see it, it is.

Cool to see all this original stuff!

:o Mind Blown

We're learning about fractals in Pre-calc and my teacher had these on a slideshow of examples of fractals

This is just mind blowing

Liked your "Self Portrait Scream" photo. It reminds me of Cartman! 10.gif "NO KITTY THIS IS MY POT PIE!" 21.gif

Decided to re-open the PSD file for that signature, drew 4 while lines on a new layer with soft light by experiment, and the affect is pretty damn sexy in my eyes:

anialatorminionchibi5_zps75ef78d5.png

anialatorminionchibi6_zps439e5dc3.png

Tis made all the better on Legacy due to the corners forming a gradient to black to match the forum background colour, giving the effect of the signature being wider than it is to fill the forum space. I'm going to have to remember and attempt to replicate this technique. 2.gif

Edit: Looking at it now, part of me feels it would be more dramatic without the name there. Posted version without name, which do you guys think is best?

Certainly not what i was trying to convey but glad you liked it anyhow ^_^

that photo was very hard technically to set up >_< especially getting yourself in focus without being in the frame, in a dim lit basement, and then holding the face for the ridiculously long shutter speed :P
