Perhaps a scaling pvp range based on your level. Glad to see some kind of love go there. An update to ladder potions would be nice as well. I know there's so many Le that need to be created so not going to bother asking for that. Cheers!

Great founder, honest friend, and always there to help new players, guildmates and old forgetful friends like myself. Can talk to this dude for hours about all sorts of stuff.

Not sure why UB was changed, plenty of other ways to sink gear in this game ( inventing comes to mind ) I do hope you plan on increasing the frequency of spine events if these changes stay. Just my 2 cents.

If a guild wants to use a level 2000 to defend a relic, don't sit any higher levels there. Easy peasy. If its someone say.... 4600 they want as lead, then don't sit anyone above that level there.

It's a choice to either defend better, with pots, buffs etc. Or don't defend, and simply retake on the hour.

If it's about defending better, I'm open to a change to the bonus stats for relics. But that's another thread to be made. I voted no.

They get tokens, yep.

Same applies for 2 or more players who are non guildmates, who don't hit one another.

It doesn't have to necessarily be all guildmates unable to hit one another.

An easy fix would be letting guildmates hit one another, but the cows have said nope to that.

Or , a more reasonable fix...expand the ladder ranges

But at least they fixed the pvp protection exploit, eh? :)

Increase pvp range +/- 10 levels above the current limit every 1,000 levels.

1000 - 1999 range is +/- 20
2000 - 2999 range is +/- 30
3000 - 3999 range is +/- 40
4000 - 4999 range is +/- 50

Once upon a time you had to accept and attempt an attack on the bounty board in order to be bountyable. They tweaked it tho, to once you accept, you risk being counter bountied. 1 time only tho.

For example: In the past I could post someone while they hit my bounty, defend fairly well against said person(s), and if my guildmates/ friends cleared that bounty on them while mine was still actively being hit, I could post em again. Etc.

Edit: Also if you remove counter bounties all together, the board dies. Pvp entails xp loss, gvg does not. Choose wisely! :)

One quick mention tho about the change to pvp daily quest hits counting on the pvp ladder.

Ladder hits aren't bountyable, thus the bounty board may suffer even more without dq hits ( its quite dead already) and we may see an increase of players opting in to get a few quick hits for a dq, then buying protection to leave. Risk free.

Any chance to have a look at the ladder and how protection works on it? ( I know it isn't a bug, more of a flaw I would say)

I've seen multiple occasions on various ladders where a player/s hits everyone once, or even multiple times for a few hours, and then opts out to leave the ladder.

*Said* player/s gain Dominance medal ticks, and smasher medal progress without a risk of being hit back or bountied.

As an example, I just had a guildmate log in, and try to return a few ladder hits. Only to find out they couldn't due to the player buying protection and leaving the ladder ( and his pvp range )

Can I just ask what the cows thoughts are on this? I know you have oodles in the pipeline, and other priorities, but I'd just like you to see how frustrating this can be to anyone who plays the ladder or plans to.

Nah. Not when they can be captured hourly lol.

Thats my opinion anyways. Losing a +2 stam tick versus losing the +57 gain from my epics? Its obvious what one should or would choose. Even you're guildmates are wearing epics mate :) We all are entitled to our own opinions tho.

Agreed but the cows have said that exploit is staying in case someone "accidentally" joins the ladder and wants out.  If that's truly the case then there should also be a restriction that if you leave the ladder before a reset you can't rejoin the ladder again for 30 days.  This would stop a lot of problems before they start.

If you buy protection to leave a ladder, you shouldn't be able to opt in again for at least 48 hours ( max duration of a ladder)

There's lots of numbers we can toss around of course. A day, a week. If you do it multiple times then you're * suspended from the ladder for a longer duration.

1 opt out via protection = 48 hours. 2 opt outs via protection = a week. 3 opt outs = a month. Etc.

Its been said for years but let guildmates hit one another. Remove the xp loss from it if you're worried about abuse, and extend the range to whatever you deem fit. ( I beleive a wide wide range would be needed with so few playing the game these days.)

It may bring some more activity to the game, or at least to guild activity. Players can try setups against one another, teach one another, and even burn a bit of stam in the meantime.

It won't add anything to the bounty board but thats been dead for a long time now.
