Hi there everyone.
 
As many of you know, we are looking at various adjustments to the GvG section of the game. This thread is to discuss RP packs.
 
Below are the existing packs. These will not change in all likelihood, barring the Enchanted Pack.
 
Packs of Buffs that are cast upon the whole Guild. Buffs last 12 hours.

Here, we have Toreth's suggestions. We've posted them below with possible costs. First the original and in brackets the new proposed. Additionally, we have noted where certain buffs and potion ideas confict with existing potions from around the game. Those are buffs are unllikely to be put in place. However, I have left them there for discussion and feedback.

Teleport 200 (Interferes with promotional chests. Not likely.)
 
 
Name: Leveling Pack Cost: 300 RP (200?)

Sacrifice 350 - (300) (Bit restrictive for gold gain, no?)

Name: Defense Pack Cost: 300 RP (200?)

Extend 250 (Highest in the game by 75 points? Not likely.)
Buff Enhancer 300 (Composing Only. Not happening.).
 
 
Name: Fighter Pack Cost: 200 RP (125?)
Contents: 
Fist Fight 250 (Very close to Empress Equaliser Elixir.)
Critical Strike 250
Side Step 250
Riposte 250 (Interferes with Promo potion. Not likely.)
Sharpen 250 (Interferes with Promo potion. Not likely.)
 
 
I hope this is all makes sense. We look forward to discussion and feedback plus any suggestions regarding other possible packs.

12h are too long and too strong.

 

Battle Pack A and Power Leveller A 

No to both. Not sure if you pay 5 or 10 RP when you can get the buffs up to 203 or stronger with composing. If they stay please make them at least lvl 175 
 
Battle Pack B and Power Leveller B
Better but still not that useful. Only new guilds need that without composing / 203 Buffs, so if that packs stay please reduce the RP (10/15)
 
Fortune Pack A
Like the other Packs A, no, at least 175.
 
Defense Pack A and Defense Pack B
Here are no composing buffs (just FI can be higher, or Buff Enchancer up to 203), so it is okay. 
 
Fortune Pack B
Here are no composing buffs (just FI can be higher, or Buff Enchancer up to 203), so it is okay. 20 RP
 
Enchanted Pack
ok!
 
Battle Pack C, Power Leveller C, Battle Pack D, Power Leveller D, Defence Pack C, Defence Pack D
Much better. But not 12h. RP please up to 30 or 40, better than Composing
 
Fortune Pack C
Not 12h. FI 3050? OKAY! :-D Can stay (with 300 FI), Not Merchant, Not Treasure Hunter (maybe level 200), add small Lady Luck (150)
 
Fortune Pack D
Again not 12h. Not Merchant, Not Treasure Hunter (maybe level 200), add small Lady Luck (175)
 
= Makes gold worthless
 
For Toreth-Packs: Again Not 12h
Enchant Pack not 12h and not 200. My suggestions lvl 175, 6h and 50 RP or lvl 175 12h 100 RP
 
Mastersmith
No opinion to that
 
Titan Pack
NO. Not more Teleport buffs please. Let them be expensive like in Epic chests.
My suggestion Teleport 175, rest okay. 200 RP
 
Levelling Pack
No opinion. Looks okay. 
 
Defense Pack
For 12h too strong. Delete that, we have composing and arena potions.
 
Bounty Pack
Spellbreaker and Anti Deflect are too strong.
 
Buff Pack 
Yes. 300 RP. 
 
Fighter Pack
Okay, but Empress Potion is rare so please delete Fist Fight - Gambling.

Is it not possible to have a more flexible system where you can build your own packs? Each skill is weighted to have a different RP cost. Just a quick thought, pretty timeless system :).

12H is not too long for one, since GVGs last awhile and people are not always available to take advantage of the non PvP buff packs. Secondly Gold has been hemorrhaging from the game for many years. It will not make gold worthless. Just a simple look at top 250 richest and top 250 richest guilds can give you a good idea of the state of gold. This is massively attributed to players reaching EOC and not being able to gain gold like they could before without deleveling.

Are the proposed RP packs the only changes we can expect for the RP system, or are new RP epics also still an option, or considering (limited) guild upgrades for RP?

 

As for the packs, I am not that excited, not because I am negative, just because I only level twice a year and the global chests/bought chests usually suffice.

 

I do like the TP200 in the RP packs though, it will give players that depend on hard work  a chance during events to compete with the titans.

Yep I know, I've suggested this with that in mind. However this aside the packages look good to me.

I do really like how all of these packages give more value to RP. I did notice that one of the leveling packs has a stalker 400 which is higher than anything we currently have in game. This is kind of cool as making some of the highest possible leveling buffs come from RP instead of Globals or promotional chests is an interesting idea. Would love it if we can have more stuff like this. Maybe introducing the immobilize titan buff being exclusively through RP to be used on seasonal titans for guild events and such.

 

Regarding the purposed Titan Pack. I understand that the Teleport 200 will heavily affect HCS profit from promos that gives the teleport 175. With zombie brew the promotional chests get you to 202. What if the Titan Pack was lower than teleport 200 but still higher than the teleport 175 we can just cast? Maybe a teleport 185 or 190? Something in that range. Pairing that package with immobilize titan buff would be pretty cool. Just food for thought.

RP conflict pack at cost of 5 

 

deflect 175 + UB 175 + Invigorate 175

 

Break it down to 6hrs if you have to...prefer the normal 12 hrs

I was thinking higher than invig 175 as we can already cast higher.

The Packs are what I'm looking at first. 

 

New RP Epics may come later. I'll have to remind myself what exists already (Epics will need to be brought in line with the new formula after all.) as it really has been a while since I looked at these.

Yeah, Teleport 200 will not happen. Where I've made notes next to the proposed Toreth ideas shows where things are unlikely to happen. We will not be added packs that equal or better Promotional packs.

I'm not big on the packs, most especially the high powered one's.  IMHO, this is giving a big boost to attacking guilds, without having similar available buffs, at whatever cost, being available to the defending guild., who  probably won't have the rp to buy the packs anyway.

Complete all of you attacks regardless if your guild wins or loses and the guild will get some rp
