Can someone please explain to me the math behind the medal progress bar?
For instance, I'm 53% to Global Quest Qualified Gold (20 Global Quest Qualifications)
However, 20*.53=10.6 (not very likely)
Thus I had the thought "Maybe its rounded"
Well, 20*.52=10.4 and 20*.54=10.8
This all led me to the idea that maybe its subtracting the preceding medals and so I tried
(20-5-1)*{.52} {.53} {.54} which gave me 7.28, 7.42 and 7.56 respectively.
And so, all glory to the cows, I thought that perhaps ONLY the previous medal was subtracted and I was given the closest thing to a whole number.
(20-5)*{.52} {.53} {.54} which gave me 7.8, 7.95, and 8.1 respectively.
And so I am left only with the thought that maybe the third method is proper and that my true number of qualifications is 8 (being the closest whole number) and that my actual percentage is .53 with 3 being a repeated decimal, rounding it down to 53%
Sorry if this seems like useless rambling but hopefully if I am incorrect, someone can correct me, its something I have been curious of for a while.
