Level 100 and below legendary should be released every weekend... Could be just one or a handful. anything during the weekend would be a welcomed at this point.

I don't see why not.

I don't see why not.

So long as these "events" do not mean we see an even further decline in other events occurring ;)

The Frag Events have not declined, so please stay on topic and don't mention it again.

34 non specific event le's ..not sure why just the ones below level 100...why not like years ago and have 2-5 of these 34 le's come out to play...once every 1-4 weeks....and by the end of the year..they would all be covered..and would give us all something to hunt... on other weeks have the scavenging le's come out to play....and other weeks have the global events....as it has been now we have many weeks, nothing fun to do..somehow we seem to have gotten away from having that weekly event of some kind....which is what kept me playing this game when i began...the excitement that came in the news each week...which i feel kept many players around..waiting to see what was next...

OK, been reading this and some similar threads, and this is what I have to say:

In July, we had the Pinata event, and LE's in the caves... In August, we had Chompers, and a pot global.... All were a huge success...

Moving right along.... when I first started playing this game, LE events were every 2-3 months, and there was a double XP event once a year, on the FS birthday.  There were no caves, no globals, and no Titans.    Those were fun times, with the lag, on *dial-up*  And I miss them....

Fallen Sword has grown since then, and in order to give everybody something of what they want, this is what I suggest:

1) Bi-monthly global events, one frags, one pots

2) Weekly cave events

3).Quarterly realm LE events

4). Bi-Annual double XP event

I also believe that Ursa and Zachorzi should always be in the game, so that all players have an opportunity to complete those quests.

Anyway, that's what I think.... Anybody?

Seems to me very few players farmed the old LEs last time... very few of the sets are still useful...  the chompers were new sets so a bunch of folks were farming them.  Is my memory off?

If the drops are not worth some FSP hunters will be limited. Not sure limited farmers is a bad thing if players are doing it for fun or frags.

flask of death and watch your back ...both could do with coiming back and your right grim wasnt that long ago few months but the drop rate is so bad it costs a fortunr to try same with a lot of the more costly le in the caves..as you wont make the drop rate better or its chance of apperence can you at least drop the cost...i know you have said cave LE have a higher drop rate that might be so but they dont have a higher appearence rate

I still think that scavenging needs looking at.

ok, you've said NO to the idea of a 3rd cave (which I thought was the best solution)

you've said NO to increasing the drop rate (I'm fine with that)

BUT,

there's still the options of

1. Increasing the chances of actually FINDING the target creatures somehow

or

2. Lowering the cost of scavenging for the target creatures (but I can't see how that will help without other changes, because then we'll just find more and more of the non-wanted critters thus lowering drop chances / scavenge even further)

I realise that scavenging isn't about making a profit - but breaking even would be nice sometimes ;)

I'd like to say, I never ever use the scavenging caves. Not even when LE's are in them.

I know many others who feel the same. Instead waiting and buying them from people who have been super lucky enough to get them from the caves. Hoping to goodness that they don't get scalped on the price.

I'd like to ask that not all future higher level LE's be released into the caves. We higher levels like to play around in the fields too.

For Sure ... hunting them in the realms is infinitely preferable to the caves - even if you have to kill hundreds to get a drop or two.

I will agree with this thought, maybe once in awhile release it out into the wild and give us a chance to burn some stamina and not some gold :P

I also believe that Ursa and Zachorzi should always be in the game, so that all players have an opportunity to complete those quests.

Also with this, maybe make them spawn similar to an SE? Or maybe even extend the spawn time so that it takes longer? Especially Zachorzi, being that its a quest early on in the game and new player may not understand right away that they have to skip it and wait to do it.

Other than early sets dropping in price there really is no other downside(Really only a downside to those looking to really profit) to release a few legendary's in the realm every weekend or biweekly is good way for the smaller guys to get armor and a bit of gold which can help boost there upgrades and boost their gaming experience.

make the new realm based LE critters vermin class or invisible so each kill adds to the guild achievements, small steps and two birds (rats) with one stone ;)

I would argue against making Zach and Ursa available all the time - as they would then get farmed for legendary frags.

But re-reborn uber new reborn legendaries that are invisible and anywhere in the realms would be an awesome idea!

An LE scavenger hunt - especially if the legendaries could appear anywhere in the realms - i.e. at any level (they are legendary after all - why can't they go where they please?), and very scattered, and immune to the AM buff! (With an increased drop rate, but immune to the 4leaf  buff would make their drops possibly valuable, and craftable)

I almost like the idea of various legendaries being ALWAYS there, but only if you have the right goggles on! i.e. the right invisibility potions.

What is against farming legendary frags? We can farm commen, rare and other frags and only at certain times the crystall and legendary frags. The need for legendary frags is way less then the need for commen frags, so I really doubt it will be done as massive as you assume. But it would solve the issue with the two quests.

One could make it so that they were only huntable under certain conditions (e.g. while questing or during events). There is something to be said for needing a hunting license to hunt bears!

The alternative is to bring them back often.

I do think special creatures for quests need to be predictable (as occurs with seasonal quests) or reasonably frequently findable
