Hi there,
I've just had a look at this, and on the build you're currently using the Weak Flux is bought for 10c. 50 Weak Fluxes will set you back 5s. 100 would set you back 10s. I can't really explain you going from 20 silver to 5, unless you were buying other things or repairing while you were making your crafting purchases?
Could you give me more information on where you bought these items from and I can double-check the vendor for you? Otherwise I can't seem to replicate it and it would require further investigation.

I just went in and looked at this again and your right, sorry my mistake.
shouldn't the trade window reflect this above the buy tab, it only shows 50 copper needed for 50 weak flux

The other UI problem that may have caused this (and it's been a long-standing problem) is that if you type a item count in many of the the trade windows, the total price (item # X unit price) does not change. Only if you use the up/down arrow is the total price updated properly. The workaround I often use if I am price sensitive on the transaction is to type in the value, and then increment down and up one each to see the real total price.
The total price needs to be updated on any value change event, not just the arrow button ones.

I've never had any shop automatically update the price when I type it in. I either have to use the arrows to update it, or click on a different item and back to the one I want after I've typed in the number to see the actual price.

There are several possible use-cases. Since the count field starts out with a '1' in it, I would often append a value after the '1', like say '5' to get '15'. Sometimes I will increment the value a bit and then append a '0' to get, say, '20' or '40'. Sometimes I would select or backspace to erase and then completely replace the original value. Very rarely I would prepend a number to get the final value. None of these actions result in a valid total price, though.
Does the UI support Tab Ordering? Maybe the total is computed when you exit the field with a tab, or maybe a newline, but I don't remember trying that. It's not really intuitive if that's the case.
I suppose I should have spent some time characterizing the issue more precisely, it didn't occur to me at the time, and it's too late now.

I've noticed this also espically when I hit the up increment button then add a 0. Clicking up from 1 - 5 changes value. Putting in a 0 to get 50 doesn't change the total. If you hit the tab key so that you go out of the quanity box the value will change to the correct total. Got caught on this a couple of times before I figured out what was happening by carefully watching the total amount change. Not sure how to go about fixing this but you either have to type the number "50" in from scratch or use the tab to get the correct cost if you add a zero behind what ever number you use.

Honestly, I don't recall an autoupdate of total price not occurring, but I did not play any during the last Beta phase or been in early access.

I cannot get this to break even on the live server it's updating perfectly every time. If it breaks for you every time you open a shop let me know.
There is only one case I could find where it didn't update and it's when you select things that costs real money like the Eldevin Points purchase. I have fixed this now.
Let me know the exact steps to reproduce this assuming you have access to the game right now. You might all just be remembering a time in the past when this was broken.
I've another 30 mins or so before i'm on but being one to have done a little bit of mass crafting in the past, i'm pretty certain that if you type in the amount AND PRESS ENTER it updates the total cost for anything bought from a merchant, whilst if you use the arrows it will update per extra item. So if you arrowed to say 20 then thought "sod this" and typed in 50 but didnt press enter, the cost for 20 would still be displayed but you would be charged for 50 if you confirm transaction.... hope this helps all

the click on the arrow confirms the new value, hitting enter does the same, as would a final arrow click after keyed entry

Re-confirmed this as well. Exact actions are: Open shop. Choose item I want to buy. Click in quantity box and type the number I want. This will not update the price at all. It continues to show the price for 1 item. If I click another item after typing in my quantity, then the price will change. Price will also change if I use the arrows after typing in my quantity. But just typing in a quantity does not update the cost.

Here's what happens for me:
1. open shop
2. click the item I want to buy
3. select the quantity box
4. type 1 in the box that says 1
5. price changes to 11 x price
And again:
1. open shop
2. click the item I want to buy
3. select the quantity box
4. press delete, type 5
5. price updates to 5 x price
I just went on the live server to my nearest shop which happened to be dead eye bows.

I did exactly what you did LT, and it still doesn't update prices. Not sure what to say lol.
