Using Chrome, WinXP.  At my character screen, I choose the server select button, and every time it says Update Failed: Unable to Read.

 

Friends tell me they are on other servers, but I am unable to access any of them.

Have you tried logging out of huntedcow.com and relogging?

Been using both Firefox and Chrome (testing performance on each), so I made sure to log out completely on both browsers.  Logged in separately and tried each browser, but still getting the same error when trying to choose a server.  I only can log into whatever the default server is (I don't even know which it is).

The default server will be the one geographically closest to you. We will however look into this problem to find a solution.

I've been told I'm on the US-East Zephyr server (which would be geographically close to me).  I can't tell for myself what I'm on, but had friends tell me.  I'm fine as long as I can get into one server lol...it would be nice to be able to hop around to find my friends, but as long as I can still play in at least one spot, I'll be quite forgiving.

on the server select screen is there anything to tell me how many people are on each server?

The population will give an indication, we will probably improve the text to be more descriptive!

Think has some to do with Java, Msgs got like 5  just log in, Opera , Fire fox!

Used both same msg, Not sure what proticals need change in java alow thought data being blocked!

 

Early start 1 day still same when check now!

 

Not sure has any thing do with Java, MSG got click add to alow did not take any screenie of them probly should have!

 

Remove java completely probly get msg back see about get soem screenie posted!

Upon entering the game it still shows west.

Odd there is no US West in the server list any longer. You are likely to be on US East. It won't actually connect when pressing change server, you still have to press login manually at the moment.

I thought that might be the case so I logge in after selection- it still shows in blue that I am connected to the West server.

Are you maybe getting confused by connecting to the Eldevin Kingdom West realm does not mean US West.

It would be nice if it indicated the server though... I could have sworn when I logged on yesterday there was an option for US west and US east... I was having trouble figuring out whether or not I had selected the right server... but today it seems like west isn't there anymore D:
