i think a warning popup will do. but there's one more issue with the ammo. is it really a good idea to use one combat turn to "reload"? it will certainly has some side effect on the "awesome ammo"

Maybe being able to use a "clip" you buy ammo like normal but you can buy Clips depending on your level.

Level 2
Buy a Clip that holds 2 Bullets

Level 5
Buy a Clip that holds 5 Bullets

level10
Buy a Clip that holds 7 Bullets.

And so on...

I actually think it is more realistic to have reloading take a combat turn, as it does take time to reload. (more time generally than it would take you to squeeze the trigger once). if you know you are out of ammo before combat, then load a clip yourself so it doesnt take a combat turn.

I actually think it is more realistic to have reloading take a combat turn, as it does take time to reload. (more time generally than it would take you to squeeze the trigger once). if you know you are out of ammo before combat, then load a clip yourself so it doesnt take a combat turn.


But if you are in the Army you will now that only certain guns need to be reloaded after 1 shot. So you should create clips.
